Very nice indeed, but the subs shouldn't stick out past the mains. Your going to get some reflections off the side of the subs from the mids and highs that are unwanted. Oddly enough, he has acoustical treatments on the wall to eliminate the wall reflections next to the mains, so he's aware of that issue but then he negates them and puts his subs way forward and right next to them. Oh well. Still a nice setup.

The bass head just got these Cap 4000ULF a couple days ago. So far, the initial impressions are:

- The cabinets are ginormous relative to the 4 SVS SB16-Ultras he has.
- The low end extension, dynamics, output easily surpassed that of the SVS SB16-Ultras. Action and war movies create earth shattering, mountain moving, ground splitting devastation. It's truly scary.

Speakers: L/C/R: JTR Noesis 212HT. Surrounds: Jamo C103, KEF Q100, Polk Audio RTiA3.
Subwoofer: JTR Captivator 4000ULF.
AVR: Denon AVR-X4400H. TV: Samsung UN75NU8000FXZA.

FS: Jamo C103, KEF Q100 and Polk RTiA3

He looks to be a two channel guy with a big screen. Man, I would move the screen out(make it AT) buy a third speaker and put everything behind the screen and throw a carpet over that wood floor. Many two channel guys like ambiance to their sound.

Building the room, speakers, and subs.

Good eye!

You are correct.

I opened the picture with a graphics viewer. After I played around with the contrast, I saw that there were a center and a pair of M&K S-150 speakers as Atmos front heights.

Finally watched The Greatest Showman today... Rebecca Ferguson is smoking hot!

Great movie with excellent bass even in singing.

What a bass fest for those who like bass from music! The Cap 4000ULF handled the bass wonderfully. Tight as ever and energized my HT when called upon!

It’s a nice movie with good soundtrack. The opening scene/song has some good bass too. Some scenes in your video get blurred temporarily- is that being induced by hunting for focus or due to camera shake caused by the bass?

The feet stumping opening scene is indeed bass heavy.

I chose this scene because of the actress portraying Jenny Lind, and the singing done by Loren Allred, who is classically trained. The bass is also really good for an opera song.

The blur is camera (cellphone) shake due to the TR. Therefore, it worsens as the song reaches the climax.

San Andreas - Dam scene:

Wow, I can't believe how tactile this clip is...

Las Vegas is considered the backyard for SoCal residents. The Hoover Dam is about 40 minutes drive from Las Vegas. I must have been to that scenic spot for at least 10 times.

Great movie with excellent bass even in singing.

The Greatest Showman - Jenny Lind - Never Enough:

What a bass fest for those who like bass from music! The Cap 4000ULF handled the bass wonderfully. Tight as ever and energized my HT when called upon!
I agree on all points Chucky... especially the love for Rebecca Ferguson.

Starting to see light at the end of the tunnel and have drivers in stock for all of our subwoofers. Leadtime is 2 weeks right now. New website should be up by end of March.

Hello Mister Permanian,
I write you here because maybe you not received my email in your box mail.
Can you look if you have received an email by Éric G for 3 NOESIS 215RT in a first time.
Best regards,
Éric

I assume 2x JTR Cap 2400 > 2x Rythmik FV18? I'm wondering what the premium of the Caps buys me. Room is 2300 cf. I need something in the 8 cf range to reasonably fit my room corners.

Hi Jeff,

I'm in the process of researching ideas for a future upgrade, and JTR has always been on the radar and definitely one of the front-runners on my list.

That being said, I just recently saw where someone had mentioned something about y'all adding the new drivers. What kind of differences in sound quality should be expected from adding these lower distortion drivers?

Thanks,

Darrell
