I got it burned and cranked it up to reference! Great work on the demo.

I had a few issues with playback on the first couple scenes where the audio cut in and out and had some frame rate drops, but it seemed like more of a byproduct of my bluray player and/or burning process using the built in windows 10 burner for the first time instead of a more reliable suite. I tried two different bluray players, and the video played great on one while the audio better on another, so I'm fairly certain it's a burning, decoding, or player setup issue.

I have all but a couple of these movies, but I haven't rewatched them in a good while since overhauling my entire system; so it's cool to see what I was really missing in the midbass. I'm adding a pair of Crowson TT in the near future, so I really need to download some good deep bass demos instead of pulling from my bluray collection.

Speakers: PSA MTM-210T x2, MTM-210C, MT-110SR x2; Atmos-SVS Satellite x2, DIY Volt-10 x2
Subs: PSA V1801 x2, DIY: 18" RSS460HO, 15" RSS390HO x2, BOSS w/JBL CX1200 x6
MA’s: Crowson Tech x2
Processing: Denon X4200, NU6KDSP, 3KDSP
Video: Epson 3700; Screen: Silver Ticket 106" High Contrast

That one's coming, it will just have to wait until after tax season.

Downloaded demo. Great stuff. I do have MBM but I don't use it anymore. My mains + Subs are doing great job. Listened to all the clips and didn't feel like I was missing mid bass besides Genesis clip. The only Mid bass I could hear was at the very end when it goes like da da d da daaaaa. That part was very cool. the rest of the clip did have some Low Frequency impact but not the mid bass. Where else besides the very end it has mid bass?

Probably a little bit of everywhere, depending on your definition of "mid-bass," which seems to be all over the place.
So don't worry about it; glad you're enjoying it.

There are lots of mid bass actions on the school bus along with ULF but the biggest difference on my system is on the scene where Arnold is repeatedly punched in his stomach. This scene sounded great with just my main subs but the MBMs bring it to the next next level.

The only clicp included in the demo disc for Genesis is the names coming on the screen. Which demo disc do you have this clip you are referring to?
Thx.

^^ Sorry, it must be a different demo disc I have then, I don't remember. There is a demo disc that has both of the Terminator Genisys Bye bye Skynet and the school bus clips, both clips has outstanding ULF and mid bass.

I stumbled onto a review of our humble demo-disc. Not bad at all.

http://www.demo-world.eu/2017/01/07/...on-disc-vol-1/

There is plenty of space left on a BD-25. Could we simply add scenes to this one and maybe revise the disc in the future?

Read the first post to obtain the torrent. Post back here if no one is currently seeding. I can also give you access to the clips on Google Drive.

I've always been somewhat leery of torrents.....

Once you get the hang of it, get the newer ones from this thread:

Some of the older ones aren't available anymore.

You can add as many scenes as you want, but it would have to be remastered, which is the PITA.
The whole point to the BD-9 is to write to a DVD-DL when BD burners were less available and more expensive than they've become. Obviously, if you just load it from a pen drive or an HTPC, "disc" size doesn't matter. Lots of clips available for downloading, as you know.

It looks like I am late to the party... I am trying to download this and some of the other great work by AVS members however there doesn't seem to be anyone seeding many of these currently. Does anyone have another download source for these? The google drive folder link would also be appreciated... Thanks!

Is there a way to run copy these to an external USB instead of burning them onto a disc and play them that way? Or would this not work?

Do these files remain "lossless" through a USB do you know? Did you put them on a USB and then plug it into your reciever? how did you then play it on your system?

Yes, if it has a lossless soundtrack, that is what will play... providing your device can handle them... If they are M2TS files, they are pretty well universally fully playable... for example, Some bluray players may not be to handle full lossless audio via MKV format... You will not be able to play them plugged into your receiver though... that input is typically audio files only. Most people use their existing bluray player's USB input. Again, it just depends on the format playing capabilities of your bluray player. Refer to the specs in your manual..

And keep in mind that you can do that with any of the m2ts files in the STREAM folder of any of these demo discs.
Enjoy.

with all the different "streaming" boxes now a days, these are probably the easiest way to play the m2ts files.
Share a folder on your computer and use PLEX or Kodi to play them.
It goes with out saying that in order to have the full sound effect the audio needs to be reproduced through a receiver.
