YOUR subwoofer VIDEO thread

Sorry guys if this has already been a topic but I haven't seen it.

I thought it would be cool to have a thread dedicated to videos of YOUR subs flexing to whatever content you prefer to use. I'm always looking for videos and if we could make this thread long enough I would love to sit and binge watch some sub porn at times!

Please list the the subs being played in the video and how many there are as some sigs/setups have changed from what's in the video (like if it was an old video or something g)

Anyway if you guys would like post up some videos!

If there is already a thread like this please direct me to it!

Thanks!

I don't have video of my subs flexing since they are downfiring but I have video of the room flexing...Does that count? Here is a video from 2 years ago.

Keep in mind you have to add about 6-7dbs correction for those SPL meter numbers being the RS shack meter starts loosing accuracy below 50hz. Off the top of my head it's something like 1.5+ @ 50hz, +3db @ 30hz, +6.5db @ 20hz, and +13-14db @ 10hz.

The Server Scene is pretty much all 16-20hz. You can hear the pictures, windows, and walls flexing bad...lol

Edit* Subs are 3 PSA XV15se

@basshead81 - are you saying that your SPL was really about 120db? WOW! That has to be the reason that I can't get tactile felling from my subs because I normally listen about at 75db.

What subs were you running there bass? Hopefully everyone will note what the subs are as many have changed or upgraded from there current sig/setup

Thanks for posting! I'm glad you did that because I have a neat video of a single lv12r maxed out during that scene in my large open livingroom. And yes the correction table will apply to mine as well. I even show the limit light flashing on mine. Give me a min and I'll post it up. I don't get nearly the spl you did though

This is just the lv12r alone without the fv15hps. I took the lv12r to the max in this one. Surprisingly I didn't hear any bad sounds but slight chuffing only when close

At about the 30 second mark it looks like one of the original base-plate model PSA XV15's, I'm pretty sure there must be a few more hiding

Yes...the system is capable of 120db down to about 18-20hz and quickly rolls off from there...114db @ 14hz, 104db @ 10hz...etc.

No bad sound was heard at all cuz there was no sound but driver flexing. That is what low Hz (10hz I believe?) does to the driver.

Ya I figured you wouldn't hear much at 10hz. I was just wondering if the driver was bottoming or if there was any port chuffing. I know my rythmiks handled being pushed very well. Never did I hear a bad sound out of the fv15hp

Like basshead said that's what happens when you have 12 18s splitting the load

In all honesty they are moving more then what my phone will capture. Maybe if I use a led flashlight instead it will capture the movement better?
