There's some nice, hot and varied bass in this bad boy here!

I was listening to it with Dolby Surround upmixer and could've swore it was native Atmos as the 360 sound field design is beautifully sculptured!

The story drew me in due to my interest in philosophy so I'd highly recommend it!

Oh, and there is also a Dolby TrueHD track that graphs the same as the DTS-HD MA so I didn't even bother posting it.

*Life Of Pi* has both visuals and great PQ. *LIFE* has great PQ (the 4k is said to be even better) and some great settings and visuals.

Can you guys keep the scales all the same? I really like the graph for the Nun as it shows 0 dB at the top. This way you can visually just look at the graph and no how loud the bass can get, the higher the better. When the scales are different some might be near the top but the top was -15 dB rather than 0 dB. This is what we try to get people to do when running bass sweeps for their responses, start with the same scale for the graphs.

Kin (2018) UHD looks insane!! Way better than the standard BD. From the colors, contrast, deep blacks and details in everything.

Upscaled 4K
Dolby Vision + HDR10
DTS:X

Compressed images but you can still see the difference. it looks amazing in person on screen

I "streamed" that movie and even with headphones at moderate levels the bass was so loud that it distorted. I need to get that movie and listen to it in my system. Also, it's unfiltered, so there's will be something for everyone.

Movie is clunky in execution and is a bit a amateurish, but the concept is great, and ultimately pays off IMO. Awesome visuals and very powerful bass track, as the graph shows.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I don't know how popular the Turtles are around here, but today was the turn of this film to rewatch for the first time in my new HT. I have to say it was quite the ride from beginning to end. The bass doesn't go super low - it's relatively strong down to 20hz - but it's big and loud, and it hits hard when it has to. But it's also varied and detailed at spots, with subtleties that are very welcomed. There are some impressive bass sweeps that are executed different each time, so it has always something to offer to the listener.

The score isn't mixed very hot, so the highs aren't uncomfortable and the mix can be listened comfortably louder than usual. I run my sub flat, and I raised the 2db for this one, and it was a blast. I think Aron made a BEQ version of this one, for those who'd want some ULF. This movies is fun and is to be listened LOUD.

I like Bay Watch's Turtles ... I get flack for it, but I genuinely enjoyed those films as I was expecting to hate them by what I'd heard about them at the time.

Hahaha. Well, I like a lot the two Turtles movies. They're really dumb fun, paired with great video and audio. I have more fun with these flicks than I think I should. They already sounded great in my previous cheap HTiB, but they're exponentially more fun with a sub. Also...Megan Fox.

Yesterday I started Season 3 of The Man In The High Castle. The bass in that first episode was crazy!! It was so much it was moving my magic remote so the cursor kept popping up on the screen.

I'm still scared to play that at my normal listening volume, need to test the limits of my subs safely first
