Awesome, people in the Dark thread are saying the video was definitely upgraded for this season as well, however apparently season 1 had Atmos and this season does not.

This is my favorite show.

This is my favorite show.

It went from 4K SDR w/Atmos to 1080p bo Atmos. I read the opposite in the BEQ thread however they did say the show was still excellent

You would have thought they would be giving HDR w Atmos

Crazy that it is not in 4K anymore either. I wonder if it was to get it made sooner.

I may need to buy that one just because I don't think it goes more than 60 seconds without some sort of bass scene. If you ever want to take your subs out for a 105 minutes of vigorous sprints this would the movie.
I was on the fence about watching this movie. After reading this Ill be checking it out after all.

I thoroughly enjoyed the thunderous romping of Shazam, as my couch shook, rattled and vibrated along the groaning and creaking of my house. Whenever the "creatures" spoke, my room filled with 360 Atmos sound, the couch rattled like crazy on the bottom and the back and I felt a pleasant chest-slam sensation! Not very often do I feel all of those altogether. It's not Aquaman-quantity bass but it still pleases whenever its called upon nonetheless.

When I saw it in the theaters I thought the bass was very good. Definitely going to pick it up, thanks SF.

I haven't watched it all the way through because it was rather late for me and I was getting tired, but what I saw I liked. I hope to finish it this weekend, but to be honest, I may forget about it. Lots of stuff to do in the next few days so we'll see.

Agreed ^^^

I loved the Movie. Had to watch the Movie in French to get the Atmos and read sub titles. But it was worth it. Great sound track and the Movie was pretty good. Got a lot right technically, and some not so right. But its a Movie and they are allowed to go into make believe land for the sake of the story line. I was impressed with just how much they got right and technically accurate. The acting was pretty good as well.

Wasn't that also the case with Hunter Killer? I saw somewhere that they had a real naval team kind of shadow the actors while on set to try and get some of the minutia of operating underwater correct. Plot maybe not so much, but some of the finer details I guess...

Yes I believe you are correct! But in this Movie's case, being of French Origin and on a French Sub, it was quite unique from that perspective.

What caught my attention most was how open they were with discussing and demonstrating what might be considered "FOUO or higher" in the US Navy. Without going into too much detail, there were revealing peeks/glimpses into some cutting edge technology, if even only noticeable by the sharp eye. Concepts of how various Vessel Signatures are stored and classified for instance. Admittedly some of this was pure Science Fiction. There does remain a pretty solid foundation of actual/real Science there. I was impressed by how hard they tried to stick to what is real and actual. It was a dramatic Movie presentation after all. Lots of fun if you enjoy Military Adventure stuff.

P.S., Bravo Zulu to the Posters and Grapher's/Plotter's of this Thread. I love coming here to see whats new and exciting. Very refreshing thread we have here. Job well Done gentlemen! Keep up the great work helping us find the hidden "Bass Gems" burried in the ever growing stack of available content.

Did I miss the discussion about the atmos mix for Incredibles 2? I turned it on thinking it would be another disney movie but was proven wrong within the first couple of minutes. It wasn't exceptionally deep but it sure was loud in my space. Great movie too!

Hello just wondering if there are higher resolution bass charts. Many of the ones I've opened have blurred/pixelated scales on the frequency range and decibels. I've been using the sticky at the start of the thread on page 1. Thank you

I was using my ipad pro. The Shazam graph above looked crystal clear but most of the graphs available on page 1 were a blur. Not to worry. It's a great thread so thanks to those that run it and contribute. I'll certainly be following it since setting up dual SVS PB3000 at the weekend. These beasts are immense. Watched BR2049 and Terminator Genesis (forgive me for I have sinned!) yesterday and some of the bass was epic.
