Alita has a lot of ULF in it. Several times throughout the movie my windows in the house were pulsating. Normally takes sub 20hz content for that. I was only watching @ -25. Reference might of resulted in a follow up phone call to Windows doors and more.

Has anyone seen T-34 (2018) yet?

I had a quick look through it on my PC and it looks like it has some potential for bass, plus some really cool visual effects used in it too (think slo-mo video game bullet-cam style)

Tell me about it Like you 25hz and below causes windows to rattle and it happened almost continuously and this came from streaming 4k Atmos from Vudu. This could very well be the best Atmos mix I've heard to date with object use that rivals the Demo disc itself

Giving this one the reference nod even while still waiting for the disc to arrive

Dude, tell me about it! I had to dial back my subs, yet again, from when I turned them down after watching The Equalizer 2 (Dolby Atmos)! This is definitely a nice problem to have in this thread!

The movie is FANTASTIC!!! I daresay it's a MUST BUY given the subject matter of this thread and even outside of its parameters, because it's a really good, story-driven, engaging film.

And this is coming from a fan of the anime, but I never expect films to follow the original source material exactly, as it's unique as a different medium altogether.

This time I don't share the feeling, man. I didn't like it very much, and outside some impressive action scenes (which are sure to be demo material), I didn't feel the story at all. I don't think Robert Rodriguez was the right man for the job.

I'd be willing to buy at the right price, but it's not a priority to me. For a quick comparison with a rather similar film, I enjoyed Mortal Engines a lot more. But I expect to be in the minority with this one around here, and that's OK. I'm glad some of you really enjoyed the film.

It gave me that Ready Player 1 vibe, but RP1 was still better imo. I do think you will like it.

Yeah I'm with you there, had that RP1 or Avatar feeling for me, and though I enjoyed both of them more than Alita - it was right up there for me
I loved the movie, and it was an absolute treat audio/visual wise, definitely a must buy from me. my daughter also really likes it

Greetings from the UK.

Really enjoyed Alita, great video, awesome audio, very very good bass.

Nothing much to dislike about this movie.

In fact I almost fell in love with Alita, those bloody eyes ! 😜

Think I enjoyed this more so than Mortal Engines & RP1

Just the fact Alita is in the same conversation as RP1 has me sold. The graph and movie clip cements my decision to purchase as soon as it's available.

That floating city must make lots of bass, the average graph is hot! I liked Alita, My girls loved it. Even with the filter in place it is hitting -30dB at 10hz, which means for me I will be getting -10dB at 10hz without BEQ. When I saw Alita in IMAX I thought to myself this was better than most movies I have seen this year. BUT, I do like Godzilla:KOM.

Building the room, speakers, and subs.

just watched the hurricane heist. utter ridiculousness! the amount of ULF in this thing is downright scary. I've seen the opening a few times at different people's HTs but the real winner is the middle section. Go watch if you have big subs!

My HT: 7.3.4 Denon x4300h + denon stereo amp, Hsu HB1-MK2(6), HC1-MK2, Pioneer SP-T22A-LR(4), dual Rythmik fv25hp, b1200d, 65" LG OLEDB7A, xbone s, ps4 pro.

Really enjoyed Alita as well. The bass was very nice even though Vudu streaming. Cannot wait to get the disc and give it a proper viewing!
My antsy 5 year old even enjoyed it and sat through the entire movie.

This looks insane! the sword camera shot and cinematography was sick.
I had no clue this was part of the Kingsman movie series because it looks so original.
