I was going to take a hard pass on Hellboy (2019) 4K/UHD/ATMOS

....until I saw the BEQ spectra graph Wall of Yellow/Orange

I just found out last week he was played by Hopper (Stranger Things fat sheriff)

It is the same ATMOS audio as the original bluray,

But the 4K/UHD/HDR/WCG ...and Dolby Vision is stunning

If you liked 13 Hours, you will want to watch "Rules Of Engagement" from 2000. This Movie was a prelude to the Benghazi event and foretold or retold a very similar story. Yes, history repeated and our Government reacted like it had never happened before?

While this Movie is from 2000, it does carry a 5.1 sound and the surrounds are very active and accurate. Several nice Bass moments as well. In each instance the Government "Sold out" our Military.

Great movies, But compared to the others mentioned PQ is a big step down and not much Bass in either.

American Sniper has average PQ, (BD only) No 4K/UHD/HDR
Zero Dark Thirty has a 4K/UHD option, but it's not even good 4K/HDR.

....and poor bass output (even after BEQ)

  3. DOLBY ATMOS TRACK/Sensual Sound enhanced

Apocalypse Now re-released with Meyer Sound Sensual Sound technology

Sensual Sound is implemented in both the post-production of the soundtrack and in
the film’s exhibition using Meyer Sound’s VLFC very low frequency control element.
Unlike conventional subwoofers that roll off at the threshold of hearing (about 20Hz),
the VLFC bridges across this threshold to deliver infrasonic response down to 13 Hz.
All very low frequency sounds are bolstered by a corporeal sensation of physical force.

I got the uhd disc plus digital through vudu and for some reason they show it shipping October 3rd, I hope that's a mistake and they adjust closer to release day!

Yeah, it is a great Movie! Well done story and acting is superb. With this Cast it should be right! Funny how everyone condemned this Movie as Racist and complete fabrication. But it proved to be an accurate crystal ball of events to come. In this particular case, Holywood got it right. They very accurately predicted, how events would unfold in the Middle East just prior to 9/11. Many were asleep at the wheel.

I know Stranger Things season 3 has been mentioned a few times and I just wrapped it up myself...I'm not crying....You're crying..... but after I regained some composure I started into Dark Season two and it brings the goods as well! For anyone that didn't watch the first season, it was no slouch either so I was not surprised.

Dark is far better than Stranger Things by a long shot , season 3 left me felling a little flat and napped through much of it gladly, shame as I loved the first season and two was just ok.
