I don't have the equipment to do that . Also, all my movies are on disc. Ripping them, even if I could, sounds like a nightmare .

Holy balls... The video of course leaves a lot to be desired lol but the DTS track bass definitely seems to pack more of a punch compared to the blu ray version, which is no slouch.
That pod emerging scene and lightning strikes were shaking everything in my place. I think my neighbors might be getting a little mad but here's a little video

4:3 aspect?? is it a flipper dvd with 2 aspect ratio to choose from?

It's the windscreen edition but I didn't see that option. I was more interested in testing the DTS bass vs the blu ray

Yes for sure with those lightning strikes I felt like I was being punched in the back at times, and all around. Mine is the special edition DVD, DTS soundtrack.
Just love that film. All the talk of EoT makes me want to get hold of that and watch it again!
Jack Reacher I also own. All great films.

My End Of Tomorrow has been watched and now I know what ya'll have been saying with that first 30 sec intro. I agree...Very cool bass but what the hell did it have to do with the movie? My 4-15000uF capacitors weren't even warmed up on the amp!

Movie was really good..thanks again for the recommend!

Of all the recent 4K re-releases, Fury and The Matrix top my list this year so far...
Even over Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator and Braveheart, (I skipped the Jurassic Park series and The Incredibles 4K's)

For comparison...the original release on bluray DTS-MA 5.1 (IIRC)...from Data-Bass

Personally I think that anyone that dislikes Tom Cruise is out of their mind. I don't think any actor makes good movies as consistently as he does. Maybe never has. And Fallout put him on another level completely. He's basically Jackie Chan now

That screenshot looks good. My first viewing on the blu ray looks really strange, like the black is super black, but you can't see much because it is all crushed. Hopefully the 4K will fix that.

Word had it the original BD mix was going to be unfiltered, but it ended up being somehow filtered. Maybe FilmMixer didn't like the disappointment it generated, and asked the mix for the UHD to get properly done.

David Ayer movies never really look very good. Maybe the UHD will improve things a bit, but not that much. Hope I'm wrong.

Saw Rambo today.

Overall, this is definately the weakest of the Rambo movies. But that last 30 min is nuts! There's an explosion scene that will rock the hell out of you! Close up mid bass shotgun blasts!

Can't wait for the eventual Rambo Steelbook set (I own all the other ones, lol)
