Seeing as you're a fellow PSA S3000i owner like myself, perhaps I can lend you a hand.

I think we may need to soon set up a Disney soundtrack anger support group for us all. Anyone remember this Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey? Thought it was relevant.

Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey
One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to DisneyLand, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "DisneyLand burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real DisneyLand, but it was getting pretty late.

Thanks for the help.
I used VLC player as I am using a MAC but the same method was used to get the delay set in MS. Once that was synced I entered that number which was -2900ms in MKVToolNix and REMUXED it again. Plays perfect now.

I don't think MrGrey has, but I know Aron did awhile back. Just follow the green dotted line on the left side of the graph to see the untouched Dolby Atmos mix...

For those of you who enjoy overhead Atmos speakers as well as your bass, Pet Sematary delivered. If you run your Atmos speakers a little hot, it was a fun movie and the LFE was used well I thought.

IT2 has some pretty solid bass. It gets a little soft in the middle of the movie but the end finished strong. Good audio mix overall! Worth watching for sure.

I know its old but wow Dunkirk has some crazy bass. Watched it at -6, had this whole room shaking with the tv36's. Up there with godzilla KOTM. I noticed that on this thread it says bad clipping beside Dunkirk. What does that mean exactly? Was the source recorded with clipping or does it make less capable subs clip a lot? sorry im new with all this stuff.

It's recorded with clipping, see Interstellar as another example

Yea Dunkirk was a flop imo...and the encoded clipping won't hurt your gear like true amplifier clipping since the signal isn't going from a sine to square wave.

Thats good to know, thank you basshead for the reassurance. Honestly I'm not a fan of the movie at all, but the amount of great bass was quiet enjoying.

I liked them both for different reasons. But if action and gun fire is what you seek then 13 hours and Lone Survivor both rank up there as well.

I really liked both. As far as WWII movies go,they are both right up there with Saving Private Ryan (and the Band of Brothers mini series) for me

I think the underlying story showing the spirit of the British public pulling together to overcome adversity and bring "their boys" home really got to me...

I'm also one of the rare ones on here that "couldn't give a rat's" if a movie I really like has good bass or not, it's definitely a bonus! - but nothing more

I agree with everything you said. Plus I used to be a history teacher and I like the history of Dunkirk and how things happened there.

I also like movies whether they have good bass or not... a good movie is a good movie and good movie with good bass is a wonderful bonus.

On that same note, just because a movie has good bass doesn't mean I'll waste my time watching it if it's not a good movie. I would rather re-watch a good bass movie than watch a bad movie just because it has good bass. I know that might be blasphemy on this thread but it's how I am.

I loved Dunkirk. Especially the aerial battles !! One of the few movies I can’t watch at reference it’s just too hot. I love the punch of the midbass for the opening gun shots as well.

I do think Hacksaw ridge and others were better movies and PQ and AQ were top notch to boot. One of the best Atmos tracks around.

Looking through my collection last night and decided to watch The Hurt Locker; been a good 3-4 years since I watched it. I had remembered it had a good mix.

Damn! Better then I remembered. Some pummeling bass and it still got my heart going in those super tense scenes. Big fan of this movie.

Yep, love HR. And as mentioned BoB is a favorite too. For me, like you Dunkirk’s soundtrack drove me crazy. The overall design was great but the clipping was a huge distraction, and the weird FR was...weird. Iirc, there were some big time supporters in the review thread of it. Won an award for sound too... SMH...
