I’m like @GPBURNS , I like all the Terminator and Alien movies, some more than most of course. I liked Terminator 3. It had some amazing action and they couldn’t have picked a better terminator. I wasn’t a huge fan of the casting of the two main characters, but just a minor qualm. Terminator movies haven’t ever really been about acting anyways, lol.

Yep, I ordered the same disc. Yes, the crane scene was amazing and still holds up to this day. I watched it again about 5 months ago and still enjoyed it.

I believe T2 is the most fun of the bunch, kind of like Aliens to Alien, but just like Alien, Terminator 1 is a more methodical thriller that has some really good scares and some amazing practical effects. They have since aged in some ways, but the amount of detail put into them is pretty awesome. Plus, it games us I’ll be back!

I would love to see that as well, but I’m not sure we will see it anytime soon. I’m not sure if this is one of the releases he has to approve. If it is, it may be like the blu-ray copy of True Lies I’m still waiting on.

I did watch the Aliens Blu-ray last week and it still has exceptional picture quality and while it doesn’t have a soundtrack that compares to today’s rentals, it certainly is engaging. I loved it just as much as I did the first time!

Disney now owns the rights to the Alien franchise. Most Disney 4K releases are mediocre at best. I'm worried we may never see any new Alien/Aliens 4K release with a good Atmos/DTS:X track.

That thought hadn’t even crossed my mind. Here’s to hoping that Disney turns over a new leaf in 2020.

Guys... The Wave (2019) with Justin Long and Donald Faison is a movie chronicling a drug trip back and forward through time and it has some fantastic bass moments that is worthy of at least one viewing. I definitely enjoyed the couch shaking, wooden shudder rattling moments coinciding with the otherworldly trips the character was having.

My top 4 favorite bass movies recently are

1. Aquaman
2. Shazam/Alita
3. Godzilla:KOTM

I do like ULF!

Edit, I should remove Aquaman as it was 2018. I can't believe it has been that long already.

Just watch Crown Vic, not too bad flick, a roller coaster. For those wondering, not much bass and dialogue is hard to hear, but some effects are well edited. Recommended none the less!

Recently did some new upgrades to my system. Been down for two months.Took out old equipment, add new ones, re-wired eveything. And made it pretty back there. Recalibrate and got everything back up running. Did a stress test to my system with demos all day. But to name a few that I haven’t watched in a while. Old, but still just plain sick bass that make you feel funny in the stomach in the end...

Are you still runinng JTR S2s?

I know many people are loving low tuned subs and they should as they rock, but not every driver is suitable for any alignment. I put my RE XXX 18s into large sealed boxes and they came alive, I can't believe the bass these put out.

yea still running those right now. Just moved it around in my room. Two to the sides and two at the rear which is sounding the best right now. Though I haven’t graph it, all ears. Bout you? Still running the IB setup? That’s a insane setup MK.. I’ve seen your last graph in the ULF score thread. Doms need to update that btw. Watched Dark Fate last night and the Atmos track brought the goods. The movie seemed like they combined parts 1 and 2 together and was entertaining. My twin 21's in front was pushing tons of air and the couch was shaking and vibrating, nicely done.

Guys, do you think it's possible for bass in rooms to change? I have a dual-sub setup (SVS PB-2000), one front mid-wall, one rear corner loaded and a few weeks back thought bass was lacking a bit and then found my rear sub phase was at 0, same as front. When I checked the SPL reading (on phone) and then turned the phase to 180, it added quite a boost and then my room was shaking.

Well last night we were watching Shazam and I thought it was sounding a bit boomy, so I decided to check levels again and now if I turn the rear sub phase back to 0 or mid-way I'm getting a DB increase and a smoother response. Weird!

How crap are mobile phone SPL's? Maybe I should dish out for a proper SPL meter?

Will do some more testing with Dark Fate I think!

Still running the IB setup? That’s a insane setup MK.. I’ve seen your last graph in the ULF score thread. Doms need to update that btw. How the hell do you keep your food down in your stomach with that ? Lol... Nice!
Nice, I had a flood and had to rebuild the whole theater again. I ended up building two 17 cubic foot boxes rather than an IB and the subs really move now, I am using a Peavy IPR2 7500 for them. I tried large ported, IB type, and now large sealed and it performs best now. Here is the new response

Running subs hot! I could always turn them down to be flat with the mains.
