I LOVED the movie (I am a sucker for war movies though) Fantastic picture, and great audio overall, very atmospheric and the movie itself is really suspenseful . This movie is NOT (IMHO) an all out, gritty, full-on war movie like Fury,13Hrs or Midway though, there are a few scenes with bass, but not a constant barrage like some others

Bloodshot (2020) was actually better than i expected. Pretty awesome and the track brought enough bass to make it a nice experience especially with 6db+ on the LFE.

I see what all of you are saying regarding 1917. The bass is rather tame but there was that one scene that scared me and made me jump pretty good. The rest of the audio is well done but I what I really loved was the way the story was told. It was very suspenseful, 15 minutes into the movie I found myself biting my nails and my wife said, "If the whole movie is this suspenseful I'm not going to make it through." This is not your normal war movie but it was very good.

Just watched it tonight. It was actually not bad. Had good bass moments and the movie itself was good. My wife and I enjoyed it.

This was probably the dumbest movie I ever had to sit through beware! Absolutely horrible. The only thing that was interesting was the use of Atmos hight effects.

Well, that’s no good. Was it lack of action, or something else? I’m one of the few that actually enjoyed Suicide Squad, BvS, and Justice League, so not sure if this one falls into a similar realm.

Interesting. I will probably blind buy it anyways and cross my fingers that I like it. I have an eclectic taste in films, so there is a strong chance, but I could be totally off base. There are worse things I could spend $30’s on.

I don't know about the rest of you but i am watching way more movie with this pandemic occuring. Sorry to those who are in a worse position. I am either, playing games with my family or watching movies. Too bad Hulu does not have a better app, their android TV app is 2.0 or 2.1 for sound, i am not sure which. They seems to get more Hollywood movies these days than Netflix.

I hate watching stuff on Hulu because of this. Even the few devices they actually now support 5.1 on, it's only for some of their own content. All the other stuff you might use them for like streaming Network TV etc is still 2.0. I've tried to convince myself to "cut the cord" many times but the one thing I always trip up on is that none of the services that stream new stuff, like Hulu and YouTube TV, have better than stereo sound.

I did some playing and Hulu is 5.1 on my PS3 but the sound is worse than my andriod TV app in 2.0.

Sadly i get Youtube only being 2.0 since Google has a problem where developers can choose their projects so they get something to version 1.0 and never refine it later. Google has great products but they need to force their workers to refine all of them a lot more than they currently do.

I like that movie and Timothy Olyphant. I liked him in Hitman and was dissappointed he did not get more action movie roles that movie.

Did you like Suicide Squad? To me, BoP was like it but a bit worse story wise.

Are you guys that are watching more not working right now? I'm lucky in that I can easily WFH for my job so things have been pretty normal for me with the amount of free time I have. I keep hearing about people burning through a ton of media and both my manager any myself were wondering if it was from not working or if people just had more time from not going out. Both of us are introverts and life is pretty normal.

Yeah, loved Suicide Squad.

I’m in Strategic Sales for Industrial Services in the construction industry, particularly Downstream Oil & Gas, so I’ve been extremely busy. I’ve been on more conference calls in the past couple of weeks, both internally and with clients, than I typically have in a month. So, I’m not watching more content in the week, but now that we aren’t at the ballpark for my oldest and youngest sons’ select baseball teams, the weekend is wide open for movie time. We’ve watched more movies in the past couple of weekends than I can count.

I have a driveway that can fit eight cars in it. I have now put the projector outside and showing movies for neighbors as my makeshift drive-in movie theater!...Then I woke up and thought is that my calling now as a movie aficionado?!

1917 was on the reel last night and I thought was a good movie but definitely got that slight motion sickness of the camera work as other stated.

Bring on the movies!
