So I am still questioning streaming...Last night I watched Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn on Vudu. Even though I was watching the UHD Atmos/Dolby+ version I still think the audio is anemic. The picture was great but the audio takes a big hit. It also seems like it follows a different loudness curve than discs. I had this movie +3 MV and +3 for bass and I could have punched it a bit more but thought of that what if scenario when streaming.
I had the similar results when watching The Rise of Skywalker which I saw in the Dolby Theater and was just blown away. Sure Dolby Theater could use a bit more bass
but the surrounds in that theater were awesome! Streaming...not the same experience.
