tried to float the idea to the wife to build a custom door for the arc entrance- i think i still have the pitchfork sticking out of my ass.... strange creatures- she doesnt care what i drag into that room, but God help me if i decide to change something that borders her kingdom lol

so in a nutshell - it is a large on-slab quiet room which cannot be sealed.
2400's will work, 4000's would be end game.

Did you do REW with your Cap 1400s? What is the extension like?

Theoretically, the cabin vessel gain starts at 13-15Hz in you room. That and you are on concrete floor.

Going by the averages from PSA S7200 and the pascal converted average for the Cap 4000ULF, dual 4000ULFs are +5.3dB @ 16~25Hz. That is 90% more output. The dual 4000ULFs' advantage @ 10~12Hz is even greater at 8 to 10dB.

Another vote for dual JTR Cap 4000s.
