Did you do REW with your Cap 1400s? What is the extension like?
Theoretically, the cabin vessel gain starts at 13-15Hz in you room. That and you are on concrete floor.
Going by the averages from PSA S7200 and the pascal converted average for the Cap 4000ULF, dual 4000ULFs are +5.3dB @ 16~25Hz. That is 90% more output. The dual 4000ULFs' advantage @ 10~12Hz is even greater at 8 to 10dB.
Another vote for dual JTR Cap 4000s.
