At this point I think I'll be playing it safe and buying 2 x of Mark's new 1200/2400w amps and using my current working ICEpower amp for the 3rd (damaged) SubM

cheers guys for all the support, especially those that have taken the time to PM me - it means a lot

jamie

To clarify what might be confused from the above, I received an e-mail at 9:49PM local time on Wednesday night (11/6), confirmed information with suppliers so I could give a useful reply, and responded back at 6PM yesterday. There were no other unanswered e-mails pending, and at the time of the post above, the e-mail was waiting on a response for 13 hours that were night time hours in the US.

We are replacing the full subwoofer so he doesn't have to swap woofers. Jamie can load one of the old amplifiers into the cabinet with the cosmetic damage and have a 3rd SubMersive.

3 SubMersives allow some great positioning and frequency smoothing options!

Yeah, I previously had 4x PB-2000's and found that 2 x along the front wall and another on the left side wall or left rear corner helped smooth out the pre-EQ response a fair bit.
I haven't really had to dig out REW and experiment with sub placement for a very long time, so there will be definitely some fun times ahead..... though moving 120lb SubMersives is not quite as easy as the 65lb SVS's....Can't wait to play around!

Hi Mark,

Sorry, I was referring to my email sent 25th October 2019 in reply to your email from 11th October stating that you were sending me a replacement preowned 1000w amp on the 12th of October to get me up and running again.
But in hindsight it probably didn't need a reply, so I apologize for the confusion.

It's all moot now as the wheels are in motion now and I'll hopefully be purchasing 2 x 1200w amps at the same time (and a third in the near future), exciting times ahead!!!!

cheers

Jamie

I see no reason to apologize here, Jamie. Per the quote below you were promised a tracking number the next day (October 2nd) for " a replacement 1000W amplifier" he came across in his shop. Since he didn't bother to provide an explanation of the missing amplifier in forum I assume he profusely apologized to you in an email and/or phone call for failing to meet another promise. I also assume that there was a subsequent email and/or phone call begging for your mercy as he failed again to deliver "Your replacement black oak SubMersive" by the end of October. He should be thanking you for being a saint and not threatening him with criminal and/or civil legal action like what 99% of the rest of the globe's population would have done.

To speed that process I've offloaded some of the basic black, install-centric subwoofer modules we sell to one of our original cabinet shops who aren't equipped to produce the premium veneer solutions.

As others mentioned, we've used seatonsound.net for as long as any website or landing page has been up. The forum was up/reachable this morning, but I can't reach it at the moment. I had seen something noted about some back end updates happening this week by the provider. It appears that didn't go as smoothly as intended. I'll check in the morning if it's not back up by then. Also mentioned by others, new additions have been focused on the website, and the facebook page.

Our e-mail listed on the website and facebook page has been working to the best of my knowledge.

I was at our cabinet shop this afternoon grabbing more cabinets to deliver more recent orders. A run of a few speaker models in black oak are getting worked into the our cabinet shop's schedule now with jamie's new sub part of that batch. We are waiting on additional SubMersive woofers to arrive which are scheduled to arrive the 2nd week of December.
