^^ I can't speak to what you will experience, but I did the 240VAC 6KW master / slave upgrade to my SubMs. No hum can be heard, sticking my head up against the speakers.

I could use some practical info on how to manage my submersive hp+ which i've had for about 5 years and is of course as good a subwoofer as i'll ever need, if not as good as it gets. my listening usually goes in spurts, meaning i'll listen to music for several days then usually have to go somewhere on business. i don't know if the unit has a trigger input and anyway have no way to run a wire from the avr. so i turn the main power off after each session meaning at the end of the day. the input from the avr is unbalanced. not sure if that has significance in my question but that's how i do it. so do these olders unit go into standby if there's no signal? how to know? thanks for any replies.
