Just remember, the 15" version is MASSIVE and heavy, so you need plenty of room and furniture sliders. It takes two people to deal with it or you could end up with a hernia trying to wrestle with the beast yourself.

Looks like they are running a 10% off sale on subs right now for Black Friday.

Use code 2019MSUB, and it works with their multi-sub discounts too.

Going to order 2 12's!!!!

I just ordered a Monolith 10 for my PC setup. I will be sitting about 5 ft away from the sub so it should be sufficient I'm upgrading from a Monoprice Studio 10 that gets to the mid 30hz range. I'm super excited.
Anyway the 10% off did it for me and I like the looks and price better then the SVS PB-12 deal.

Rakuten has a 30% Superpoints on the Monolith 15 that expires tonight. Does anyone know if that's a good deal? I've never used Rakuten before and i am trying to make a decision on that.

Does anyone think Monoprice will add any further discounts ON BF itself?

I want to order 2 12's today (due to shipping) but fear they might put an extra 5% or so off on Friday morning....

Just ordered two 12' ported subs.

I wanted to wait until actual BF but I have a limited window of time where I will be home to receive these.

Unfortunately, I won't even get to hook these up til January as my new house isn't completed yet!!!

I ordered mine the same day and they were delivered yesterday. Looks like Monoprice is trying to beat Amazon prime shipping. I am going to set them up next week.

Dang!

Well....I live within 1 shipping day of CA, but I’m in Thailand now. I’ll only be home next week for two days before I’m off to NM to work.

Normally I have things shipped to my office and I pick them up when I get home but I ain’t tryin’ to transport two 100lb boxes!!! Hah!

I know! These are indeed heavy. FedEx left mine right in front of my garage door sitting on their side. Didn't even try to bring them close to the front door...lol. I too have to move them to my basement. Its going to be a workout.

My new house will be done in January so I will have them leave them in my garage. The movers will be able to move them for me. haha

Rakuten has the 12 inch monolith ported for 710 and the Seale’s for 610. Thinking of pulling the trigger in the sealed or should I wait for a different deal? They just had 30% off in points that I missed. Thanks!

Has anyone bought these subs but NOT selected the liftgate option which cost extra $125. I want to pick up from the fedex freight hub location myself but I don’t see any options to do that. I may have to call fedex myself?

The Rakuten deal WAS the absolute best deal anyone would have gotten on the monoprice products this shopping season. Prices for a short time were the lowest they have been from monoprice AND you received 30% back in "points" aka store credit to use toward future purchases. Don't feel bad for missing out as I screwed around and missed out on the 7 channel monolith amplifier for $1529 plus a massive $458 back to spend at a future date. ugh.. The 15" sub was around $1330 with nearly $400 back in store credit...

Let' not confuse people. It is not "30% off in points". It WAS 30% BACK in points to be used for a future purchase, and yes, welcome to my screwup club for not taking advantage of that stellar deal. There are quite a few of us in it! :-)

What is the approximate tune of the 15 with 1 port plugged and extended mode? The graph I have see it start to roll off below 20hz.

I have never bought anything from Rakuten but I have seen few people on forums who had issue with customer service when they bought their monolith subs from Rakuten. Apparently they were given run around between Monoprice CS and Rakuten CS. Again, I have no first hand knowledge so just take it as a word of caution.

Can anyone point me to the best settings to use on ported M12s if the goal is most accurate bass with least distortion and sheer output is not the real issue as I will have 4 of these bad boys in a 'not very big' room.

There's really no universal best settings, it's all room/equipment/personal preference dependent.

If you take yourself too seriously expect me to do the exact opposite...

Is Monoprice still requiring customers to ship back their Sub if there is an issue or just an amp? Does anyone know if opening the amp voids the warranty?

I bought a Monolith 15. I have yet to do any proper setup and calibration. I just played some bass-heavy songs on youtube. Is it normal for the subwoofer cabinet to vibrate with 30 Hz bass? The sub is on furniture movers which are on a slate floor.

Yes they are requiring you to ship back the whole sub at this point. I was emailing Hobie Sechrest and he was saying they can do part replacement now but when I would work with support, they would say RMA requires the whole sub, so it seems they are not yet all on the same page and you will need to ship back the sub.

Maybe escalating to higher level support and/or mentioning Hobie's name and what he said might help. Worth trying.
