Paradigm Servo 15 v2 @ $600...too good to be true?

There's a listing for a Paradigm Servo 15 v2 for $600 on Craigslist. Seem too good to be true?

Also, assuming it's somehow legit, would it be a good match for my setup? If not, any suggestions at a similar price point which would work? I'm upgrading from a Klipsch R-10SW. I've been looking at a PB2000 or LV12R.

Room: 21' wide (TV wall) x 13' d x 10' h

Whilst a significant saving on the subs original RRP, it's still $600 for a subwoofer that probably around 10-13 years old. @Ed Mullen (now with SVS) wrote an excellent and very detailed review for the Servo-15v2 in 2005 https://hometheaterhifi.com/volume_1...05-part-1.html and it definitely looks like a solid performer
Personally I'd go with the PB-2000,or jump up to the next level to the HSU VTF-3 mk5 or the PSA 15V, or look at the 10" and 12" Monolith subs. There's so many great performing subs now for under $1k it's hard to recommend a 10+ year old sub for $600 with no warranty

Those are great subs and that is cheap if it's really a Version 2. Version 1a's go for that price. Sub might have the hum problem that some paradigms get after time. I would ask if this sub ever had this problem and was repaired. I loved my Version 1a until I had to sale it. Bought it for $450 and sold it for $700. But I still wish I bought a used Rythmik F12 that was for sale a month before. My AVR does not have any correction so the controls on the Rythmik would of help me and I also did not like the filter that is built into the sub below 22hz. I'm less and less of a fan of the later Paradigm subs, every new version is better for HT and less focused on Music.

I would never buy a 15 year old sub again as ID subs are easy to get for a good price.

$600 is an excellent price for a Servo-15 v2! If it were local to me and checked out as fully-functional, I'd be all over it in a second...

Age at that price level is a concern. It would need to be cheaper to warrant the age. You can get a new ID sub that will match or exceed performance for not much money. New with full warranty. Hsu VTF2 mk 5 is only $607 shipped and will be close to it. Suggest you read this review:
https://www.audioholics.com/subwoofe.../hsu-vtf-2-mk5.

I wouldn't spend $800 on the PB2000 when the next level Hsu VTF3 mk 5 is on sale for $855 shipped right now. With the sale, that is really the biggest price per performance bargain on the market without going B-stock. There is a b-stock PSA 15v for $900 right now. It's about equivalent to the Hsu for performance, but different form factor and better warranty (they also have the whole made in the USA thing if that is important to you).

Totally get the age component. The listing says "Less than 100 hours use. Looks brand new. No dings, blemishes, rips, etc. Was collector owned and kept in a pet free, non-smoking household." Not sure I believe the "less than 100 hours" haha.

At this point I'm leaning to a new ID subwoofer, or I might pick up an PB2000 for the same $600 on CL (warranty is transferrable on SVS, right?)
