Or Better yet, jump down the Rabbit Hole and get the entire list in XLM file format from the repository (aka "repo")
Downloaded to your laptop/pc/macbook then a single mouse click for your selection off the list to load into your MiniDSP and watch instantly.
First Page has everything you need

Not really a BEQ request, but I really recommend anyone check out "Love, Death and Robots" on Netflix. Some really creative stories, and excellent lifelike CGI. I watched 7 episodes before I told myself that I need to not burn through these episodes to quick, they range from 5-20 mins long per episode.

^^^Thanks, I must have glanced over it. I do know there was one episode (Can't remember which at the moment)in particular that I would not want to have a BEQ applied.

The dark green peak at 20Hz didn't change much (in reference to the dotted line) with BEQ
...looks like Aron just brought the 10Hz up to the same level... if you're concerned, just dial back on your MV a few clicks

I binge watched them all the week it was first posted and had no issues with BEQ applied.

Not a big deal, but the BEQ name for the first Harry Potter film is wrong. It is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (not Philosopher). Lol

Actually BOTH are correct and that's why I posted both names on the list, it just depends what Country you purchase it from

The First Book was Published in the UK June 26,1997 as the Philosopher's Stone,

Watched Creed 2 BEQ'd full on today at -5mv. Damn ...LOVED IT !! The BEQ seemed just perfect on this one. Real nice ULF to support and the music hit hard. I love listening loud sometimes and really made it feel and sound like I was actually there in the coliseums for the fights.

I could watch a lot of those parts again. -5mv is usually a little too loud for me, but seemed perfect today. Anyone else watch this one a little louder than usual (I know it didn't show an mv adjustment for this one but just sounded better cranked up a little more

@BryceDH and I have it in the repo as Philosopher's Stone since to me that's the "real" title. I thought the reasoning for name switch to Sorcerer's for the US was stupid and stand by the original.

Plus it seems like they've walked back the name switch a bit too.

I hear you. I honestly hadn't seen it called the philosopher's stone so i was confused when I went to grab the BEQ. I read the books and everything as a kid as they were released. I sometimes dont realize there's a whole world out there

I never did buy it on Bluray, so it's not like its a double dip for nothing.

..and it's only $20

Any bass in this one Pio? I can’t find a graph for it anywhere. Thinking of picking it up while I’m at the store, but if it just has a nice Atmos track, I’ll pass. I actually enjoyed this a bit when it came out, liked the soundtrack when I was a kid and don’t own it.

Edit: picked it up anyway.

LOL!

If the Bass was filtered at all, I never noticed because I left the previous BEQ I had loaded on my miniDSP
...Don't even recall which one and didn't care, had my finger close to the MV button if things got a little too hot.

That reminds me, I wish the miniDSP software would save the file name for each configuration when they’re loaded/saved and display it...seems like this would be easy to integrate into the UI. It’s a little odd that this feature isn’t available. Unless it’s a secret option only for master users.

Good morning Bassheads!

I'm officially back to my normal work schedule (FINALLY!!!), so I have some catching up to do. Also. my AVR was giving me issues, so that was replaced as well.

I'm not seeing a whole bunch of new stuff coming out, but I am looking forward to watching the re-releases of Backdraft, Black Hawk Down (a guy at work the other day told me he'd never seen this...), and Karate Kid. Luckily, I have a new toy (AVR) to keep me occupied until more new stuff is released.

Oh...if anyone can tell me why I'm unable to edit my sig, that would be awesome. Lol

Keep up the great work!

Darrell

This!!!!

I have 5 MiniDSP HD’s throughout my systems. It seems that should be an easy thing to implement.

It would be nice also if when you connect to a MiniDSP the software uses/loads the program in the MiniDSP instead of overwriting it!!

Nice!
I see the new DTS:X track is getting very high marks from other reviews, so with BEQ to pick up bottom end that was neutered from the Blu-ray. Your comment sold me on ordering the Hellboy II UHD anyway after all the backlash for the weakened bass.

Yeah, the BEQ just combined so perfectly with the crazy DTS:X usage. It's one of those few mixes that you can tell throughout the film that a consistent effort was made to take advantage of the capabilities, and with BEQ there are transients incorporated into the moving audio objects where you not only hear the objects move past you, but you feel the vacuum of them whooshing by. Really, really impressive sound design and mixing. It is definitely a reference object mix in my mind.

Hey @aron7awol ,

I have a request for Squadron 303. It's a European release, so not sure how easy this will be to get access to.

Thanks,

Darrell

@aron7awol Yes HellBoy had great surround/height action!

..You'll probably find the same with Godzilla's ATMOS track...

I have a special request for a Graph, no BEQ required
...just want to see how the LFE graphs look on the original Mad Max with Mel Gibson.

Someone on the "other" thread called MMFR a snoozefest
and suggested the original Road Warrior is the better movie.

Wondering how it measures up to the Wall of Yellow that is MMFR
