How are the following sub?

Hi,
Truly sorry for my questions (:

But I find it so hard to find A proper option that really meet my requirements but the specifically ones(Niles & REL & ML) does not shipped to me.

The living room is about 18 meters.
Will one of these models with make the bass "in the air"?
I dont have huge expectations ... After all it is not that I have something high-class.
Just A Polk Audio S20,S30,S10...

Cheaper options(supposed to be good for me, no?)
Both are 365$ (If I was living in U.S so there are additional costs)

Klipsch R-100SW
- 10"
- 150W / 300W
- 32-120 Hz 3-/+
https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-R-100...dp_ob_title_ce

Polk DSW PRO 440 WI
- 8"
- 180W/360W
- 25-160 Hz 3-/+
https://www.amazon.com/Polk-DSW-PRO-...ronics&sr=1-93

More expensive option(no doubt are better right?)

REL Acoustics HT/1003 Subwoofer, HT-Air Wireless Compatible
https://www.amazon.com/REL-Acoustics...&s=electronics
- 10"
- 300W
- Frequency response: Down to 24Hz (-6dB)

Please advice me (:
I would be so glad and thankful!

This reviewed well, and if it's too expensive, it has a smaller and cheaper brother.

"shaby" has multiple posts. In earlier ones, the specs were: available for shipping to Israel, and less than 14.3" (36.3 cm) tall. (Originally, it was 15" tall.) Also, SVS SB-1000 performance was desired, at a $250US price point.

I'm not sure what requirements may have changed.

I'll reiterate what I said in one of your other threads: Save up and get an SVS PB-1000 from their authorized distributor in Tel Aviv. You'll get a powerful, well-rated sub with full warranty and backed by SVS' respected customer service. The PB-1000 is 15" wide (38.1cm) so if you lay it on its side it fits within your height restriction of 38.5cm.

Hi,

I did wrote about 3 posts...ever since there is An update - the post is already at the bottom of the page.

I just want to know:

2 options that I will need to ship by A shipping company As they does not shipped to by Amazon:
Niles 1200 Watts (SW8)
MartinLogan Dynamo 700W 10"

Both good for me...are thy worth involving A shipping company?
That mean loosing the benefit Amazon gave me of shipping refund for items shipped to Israel.

3 options that shipped to Israel by Amazon:
Klipsch R-100SW (found A good deal in my local AV shop...almost same price as in Amazon)
Polk-DSW-PRO-440-WI
Definitive-Technology-SuperCube-2000

@drh3b
The polk 12", which is not shipped to me (maybe worth A try asking Amazon approval for that).
The smaller model not worth it...just A toy.

@eljaycanuck
I know that the SVS give A huge value for money...maybe the company who gives the best value.
According the measurement I made - I have 38cm EXACTLY....so it not good for me.
Only the SB-1000.

I can spend the cost of the SB-1000...there is A group of consumers arranging A buying group to have A good deal on the SVS from the local dealer.

Thanks very much!

FWIW I have the 440 pro in my bedroom which is around 2600 cubic feet. I have it paired with NHT SuperZeros and a low end Yamaha stereo receiver. I ended up with the polk because I needed speaker level I/Os.

Anyway it does a nice job with music up to around 85-90db at the listening position. Starts to run out of steam at that point but I rarely listen that loud in that room. It does have a very nice sound to it and seems quite musical within its limitations. And the the remote is nice for making the initial setup.

Klipsch RF-62II, RC-500, RS-400, SVS PC12+,
Def Tech SC8000
Onkyo RZ820
Roku Ultra, Apple TV, Sharp 70" Quattron

2600 cubic feet is even bigger than my living room...

BUTTTT - I hardly listen to music at home.
The sub I will chose is 95% for H.T
So maybe it would not be the natural choice?

ok

I thinking if not squinting my eyes to one of them:
- Niles SW8 - 155$ on Amazon (I got A big compensation...)
- MartinLogan Dynamo 700W - 205$ (compensation...)
- Sunfire HRS-8 (used on very good con' from eBay) - 290$
- Polk DSW PRO 440 WI - 155$ on Amazon (compensation...)
*I will take off the legs...it's 4.7mm heiger)

Have not listen to them And As I will buy in on-line I will take the "risk".
What do you think about them to my living room - about 17 meter square?

On youtube the Niles SW8 + Sunfire HRS-8 sounds GREAT!

What is your opinions?
Please share you thought - only of these models (you helping and not responsible for any decision)
Thank you very much!

* Disclaimer:
1. Please take in consideration that I dont have An high-end system And due to that I dont expect for A mini cinema inside my 17 meter square living room.
2. I wont have any complains for helping me (:
So even if you dont feel that you can write "your say" bc's "what would be if..." - this is my responsibility.

According to the specs, the Dynamo has similar power to the Niles (300W RMS/continuous) but better extension. In your large space, a ported sub (like the SVS PB-1000) would be a better choice, but of the ones you've listed I'd pick the Dynamo.

Happy shopping, and I hope you are satisfied with whichever sub you end up buying.
