Buzzing/Humming sound from Pioneer sub

Dear all,
Can I get your help to solve an annoying issue, please? I have the Pioneer Andrew Jones SW-8MK2 100-Watt Powered Subwoofer. I have it connected to my NAD 3020 amp using a subwoofer cable connected into the LFE Left input of the sub.

I have a noticeable buzzing/humming sound emanating from the sub. I get this when I have it in standby mode, on mode, and auto mode. I also hear the sound when I disconnect the subwoofer cable. And I also get it when I connect the sub to an electrical outlet in a different room. Any idea how I can solve this issue?

Thanks!

If there is nothing you can do to prevent the humming I'd say your amp is the problem. Does it get louder when you turn the trim up and go away when you turn the trim down? Did it work fine yesterday and then all of the sudden start exhibiting this behavior? Does the plug have a ground pin?
