Need help 2 pb1000s or 1 BP 2000

So I cant decide if I wanna go 2 pb1000s or 1 pb2000 which would have the best output. Right now I have 1 rsl speedwoofer 10s and it's got decent output but doesnt hit the lows that great it would be 99% movies I know the svs goes lower I'm looking to upgrade my budget is right around 1000 but unfortunately it has to be from best buy. The room is on a concrete slab its 20x16 with 6.5 foot ceilings with the back of the room open to a staircase if someone can help me decide I would be very thankful I'm causing myself alot of stress over this lol

Why do you have to buy the sub from Best Buy?

My humble main system:
Vizio M75-E1; Oppo 203 universal UHD player; Denon 4300H AVR, Dual PSA S1801's; Monitor Audio Silver RX-6 mains, RX center, and RX surrounds; one pair NHT mini Atmos speakers; Home-built HTPC (Xeon E1230, 16gb RAM, Crucial M500 480gb SSD, GeForce 980Ti, Corsair CX600, CoolerMaster mini-ITX case); Roku Premiere+; Amazon 4K Fire TV

I get where you’re coming from, but you can do *much* better for $1,000 if you go with an ID sub. $1,000 will get you a HSU VTF-3 MK5 (with more than $100 left over) or a PSA V1510DF. Either one of those will eat a PB2000 for lunch, and I highly doubt you would return one.

out of the two you mentioned here which would you recommend over the other? I might just sell the gift card and go this route

Depends on what you are looking for. They are comparable in performance to each other. The PSA has a much better warranty, but costs roughly $130 more than the HSU (shipped price). I prefer PSA for their warranty and incredible customer service, but HSU is an excellent company too. My first real sub was a HSU, back in the early 2000’s.

Another point in favor of PSA is that you can trade in your PSA sub towards a nicer PSA sub, similar to SVS. The owner of PSA, Tom Vodhanel, is a co-founder of SVS.

Not speaking for sk373, but you cant go wrong with either imo. I would lean toward PSA for build quality, longer warranty, trade in options, customer service edge, but HSU is a little less cost and equally good performance. No bad choice hear.

Edit,,,, I was to slow to type lol^^ sk373 beat me to it.
