Hi Danny @Danny Diep,

Here's good thread about this subject;
Guide to Subwoofer Calibration and Bass Preferences
Worth reading a few time, since it full of very good information's to digest.

Read-it to do what is pertinent to you. And if you run into snag, you can always question on this thread.
Sub and proper setting (location and AVR settings), will require you do some experimentation.
Since sub/s can be difficult to get right, and no single answer can take care of all situations due to room response.

Agree with Darth that the Guide to Subwoofer Calibration and Bass Preferences is a wealth of information, and not just concerning subs & bass.

Here is another older link that still contains a lot of useful info for someone new to the hobby: Setting Up Your Home Theater Audio 101

And, do not hesitate to ask specific questions!

It's a great set-up guide! The major things to watch for after running auto-cal is the AVR setting some/all of the speakers to Large (i.e., full-range) or Small with a too-deep crossover.

Def Tech has crossover recommendations posted for many of their models - and we can also advise you on the best crossover for those speakers - just contact SVS Customer Service at [email protected].
