How's it going everyone? I've been on AVS for a while now and have received so much help and priceless information about AV, games, movies, installs, opinions on products, etc... from the wonderful people on this forum. There is something I have noticed with not just some people here but in other sites and online is people when describing how much low frequency their subs hit they use the word base instead of bass.
Bass= low frequency sound from a speaker, instrument, a subwoofer, a humans voice.
Base= the foot of something, a hard surface, a object you cross or step on in baseball.
What do you guys think, is this just me being weird about starting this topic or have others noticed and just said...huh. Maybe it was a type-o.
