Hi All,

I am going to have the following entry level setup.
Yamaha tsr750 receiver with 2 klipsh 820F front speakers along with klipsh quintent V back and surround speakers. I am looking for a sub aorund or less than $300 mark.
I saw Klipsh r120 on sale for $249. About to pull the plug. what are my other options?

Look for SVS, HSU, Rythmik, Monoprice Monolith, PSA. These are usually considered more for the money but the Klipsch is ok if a very good deal if you cant find others now.

Klipsch isn't known for their subs.

Spend a lil more and get the SVS black Friday special $499 PB12-NSD best bang for your buck for any subwoofer in that price range that can go infrasonic.

I would get something in their RP line. Try and find a older Rp-450C or a used one here in the AVS classifieds or used one on eBay or check your local listings on eBay, Facebook and offer up.

I would check Craigslist and Facebook marketplace for your area. I have the RP-450C and it sounds great to me. Prior to that I had the RP-250C, which was also good. I only upgraded to be able to sit my tv on it.

Klipsch RP-280F, RP-450C, Infinity Primus P363, Hsu VTF-15H Mk1
Denon AVR-X2200W
LG OLED65E8
Nvidia Shield

It's nice, but if you mainly watch movies ported subs will always give you better performance.

For $100 more I would definitely pick up the Pb12 NSD. This is an awesome sub at that price point.
