Subwoofer advice

I have an older sub-woofer that's pretty good but no longer available. my receiver allows two subs so I added a second one from a HTIB speaker set to help fill in the sound. I've decided to send back the HTIB speakers but will miss the sub. I'm looking for an affordable < $300 sub that could help fill in the sound. The best sellers on Amazon are brands like Polk, Yamaha, Klipsch, and BIC. Could someone recommend an affordable option whose faults are ones of omission rather than commission? For anyone interested here is an old review of a previous model of my subwoofer.

Thanks in advance.

Have you taken a look at the under $300 budget subwoofer thread just slightly above this one?

They have a lot of knowledgeable folks, and good list to choose from.

I have owned a BIC F12, and while it won’t shake your crowns loose, it does an adequate job at the price point.

Good advice already posted ^^,,,,,, I'll add,,, despite your limited budget,, just $100 more will get you into a much better sounding sub like the RSL- Speedwoofer. If thats not an option then as mentioned check out the budget sub thread.
