M-Audio SBX10 question....

I just snagged a SBX10 Subwoofer for $25 but need help setting it up. Is it possible to add it to my current home theater set up? I have a Denon AVR 1609 receiver that I found in the garbage that works great. It has a a Pre Out Subwoofer output. Can I just plug a cable from the Pre Out to the "Unbalanced RCA inputs" on the back of the subwoofer? I currently have that cable plugged into a Polk audio 10inch sub and it works fine
