Svs vs monolith. Single vs dual.

New to the forum, but have already found great advice and info. I recently started my first real setup with klipsch rp280s and the rp-450 center. Now I just need the deep end. My budget is 900-max 1000 and unfortunately it has to be from Amazon. My room is 12 x 23 with my projection screen on the 12' wall and main seating position about 9 ft away. Lvp flooring over concrete. No treatment right now. I'm really the only one that will be in there so m I'm not super super concerned with making sure other seats have equal bass as the mlp. I'm currently trying to decide between a pb-2000 pro or the monolith 12. Dual pb-1000s or dual monolith 10s is also an option. I'm coming from a Vizio soundbar + sub and I haven't really experienced a real sub in a home theater, let alone a dual setup. Which would you recommend between the 4 options? I want something clean, that can go deep and kick me in the chest! And I probably won't be able to upgrade for a while. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the spam posts but forgot to mention: ceiling height is 8'. 65% movies 35% music. Also, with a 1year old, I don't expect to be anywhere close to reference level on a daily basis. But looking forward to cranking it up once in a blue moon.

I like SVS, I have the PB12-NSD, but the specs on the Monolith 12 is 1 level above the PB2000. The only advantage that I see here is SVS's legendary customer support
mthomas47 and drh3b like this.

Not to pry but why is amazon the only option?

EDIT:

As to your other question, I would always do dual over 1 if you are worried about more than just how loud it will be.

Amazon is my only choice because I have a lot of store credit. Otherwise I'd probably go hsu, as that seems like the most recommended subs on here.

You are around 2,200cuft. That is a decent sized room.

If you can do a 30 day test with free return, I would recommend starting with (2) PB-1000 and see how you like it. It will give you as much or more output as (1) PB-2000 but it will give you a more level and even response through the bass range and throughout the room if you decide it matters.

Thanks for the advice. Is there a huge difference between the pb-2000 and the newer pro model with the high excursion driver?

I apologize for not knowing the answer to your question. Hopefully an SVS expert will chime in.

The Pro has an additional 50 watts, an extra port, and is app controlled, having heard neither would imagine still that there is a perceptible difference.
