Subwoofer Recommendation ($600 range)

I am re-doing my basement home theater setup and looking at add a subwoofer. My budget is around $600. This is not huge, I'm looking to get some bookshelf speakers that can cross over around 60-80 Hz (I have a different thread for that), however the basement is open which I estimate to be a total area of 3000-3500 cu ft.

I am not looking for earth shattering sub-25 Hz power, but I would like strong and detailed bass for music while also providing a good foundation for movies/gaming. I was thinking maybe the HSU VTF-2 Mk5, Rythmik LV12F. My price range is a bit in-between the SVS subwoofers (PB-1000 vs PB-2000). I have an RBH I-12 in another room which I like quite a bit, but that has been my only subwoofer experience. Anything else I should be looking at? Or any recommendations between these?

LV12F, VTF2, Monolith 10" ported. Those would be first three to consider, IMO. I would not consider a PB-1000 but PB-2000 would at least be worth trying and sending back (free returns, no shipping costs) to get an idea if that level of sub is enough for you.

I would recommend the LV12F if you have a like for clean detailed music.

Front: Polk S55

Go with the PB-2000 if you want to go with SVS. I had the previous model for the PB-1000 and I much prefer a bigger driver than 10". LV12F and VTF2 are the best options IMO. If you want a sealed sub the L12 is a great sub too.

TV: TCL 6 Series 75"
Speakers: Hsu Research HB-1 and HC-1
Sub: SVS SB-3000
AVR: Yamaha HTR-4065
Previously Owned Equipment: Elac B5 and C5, SVS PB10-NSD
