I need help with subwoofer placement, pictures provided.

Hello, I’m fairly new to home theater setup after deciding to ditch soundbars to a full speaker system. I recently have been struggling on a spot to place my subwoofer and I’m already looking into getting another subwoofer but I need help on where. I have a dual recliner couch and when I sit on the right seat I don’t get much shaking action but on the left I do. I provided a graph and picture of my room, yes this is a bedroom so I have a bed in it and other stuff.

That corner where the standing lamp is seems like a good spot in order to corner load the sub

I would probably try where the small book stand is to the left of the couch, or you could try to the left of the TV and see if that works. You will need to measure with UMIK and REW to see what location gives the best response at the MLP

So subwoofer here, or to the right of the floor standing speaker?

That could work but generally to get corner loading benefits you would need it more towards where the floor standing lamp. This is where the measurements could come in handy to confirm and verify

Since you're planning a second sub, very soon you'll eventually be less picky about positioning, but still glad it worked out for you.
