macOS Sierra performance

I have been running macOS Sierra on my Mac Mini 2014 and am happy to report that I have not encountered any problems compared to El Capitan. I have it hooked up to my NAD T775HD receiver through HDMI and from there to an Epson 1080UB projector. I use the Mac Mini for audio only as well as movie/TV shows. I use eyeTV, Plex, Audirvana, iTunes, etc. They all seem to work fine. I wish Apple would let us bitstream advanced codecs, but not sign of support for that!

I've got the same mini. Good to know I can stay tranquil when upgrading to Sierra.

I see you use iTunes as well. Do you happen to know what does this option do? I just noticed this after upgrading to version 12.5.1 and it gives you the option to select Best Available or Good.

I am not sure what that does. I can confirm that iTunes still does not do sample rate pass through. It converts everything to the sample rate set in AudioMIDI setup. My primary player is Audirvana.
