Foosball table recommendation

I want to make a present for my son. He is fond of foosball. But I have no ideas about it... how to choose... What should I pay attention to? I have a budget of about 400$. Is it enough for a good quality foosball table? Any advice?

This is by far the best value at around that price point based on my research for new.

Otherwise, look for a good used tornado table.

We look at the Warrior tables that were recommended above, but decided to go with a KICK table. We have been really happy with it.

We ended up with their Legend table.

I had a Tornado table at our fraternity house in college - it was really nice, but didn't want to look around for a used one.

Finding a foosball table with good quality is somehow hard... Thanks for the advice! I have read a lot of reviews about foosball tables and come to a decision that Kick brand is the best. This company makes different tables, all of which seem to be of high quality. In the end, I have chosen KICK Foosball Table Triumph. With its smooth black finish, the table blends well with other furniture in our home.

Huh, I haven't heard of kick before. Warrior and Tornado have good reputations. I actually bought a used Tornado a year or two ago for $400 off craigslist. The only bad part about used Tornado tables is sometimes the golden oak finish on them looks kind of dated.

My website on game room related stuff like pinball, bubble hockey, foosball, home theater, etc.

Man, what a steal at that price.

Just checked out some of the Kick tables and there are a few models that look a lot like some of the Carrom tables in this article. Makes me wonder if this is one of those knock off companies.

As someone who worked in the industry for a long time and is especially familiar with Carrom's manufacturing processes and quality, Carrom > Kick

at op's pricepoint I would be buying for warranty. foosball tables get beat on. cant see how a low priced one would last.

problems I have had w/foosball tables: floor/field gets warped, plastic men break, rods bend, rods get less smooth/bearings. so get a thick/solid field and get high quality rods/plastic men.

Hey, you can even look for a universal, multi-gaming table, you know, where the foosball game is also included!

Check this article to learn more about modern tables are represented on the market. I hope you'll find something useful!

Is there any difference between KICK, Tornado or Garlando from here? I have a part-time job, and guys from the office asked me to buy a foosball table at $1100-1300, and I am not a player at all

per aspera ad astra!
