Just goes on to show that if you paid any close to MSRP for these AVRs, you got robbed.

You have to check the little box for the coupon. Good deal. They are an Authorized Dealer also.
Posted before I looked. Original poster is incorrect. The deal is for the X2400H (2017). Not X2500H( $499,2018?). Still a very good deal.

correct. I typed that in wrong.

It's literally the exact same recevier minus a phono. If phono is important then you would spend 2x as much and get the x2500h.

This receiver is an excellent price at $249

I texted a coworker early this morning about this deal. He is wanting to update from his old HTIB. He just replied that the 20% coupon is gone. It is. "See I told ya buddy" was my reply. That was $60 more savings. Does anyone know if those coupons come back ever? He is getting antsy now and wants to pull the trigger.

Well...its a soon to be discontinued item...as is the X2500

So Fry's will likely have the X3600 for $499-599 shortly.... they have had this Denon X3xxx series for about the same price for the last 4 years or so

It will be at least 2 to 3 months before drys discounts it after it is released if past sales are indicative of future deals...

Possibly...but at about $500 its worth waiting to get it over the lower unit unless you need something right now and want to forgo a better deal

Even better if you can go to the store and use the 20% off coupon
I bought an X3500 for $380.00

If what I'm seeing is correct the new x3600 is a 9.2 channel receiver capable of 11.2. That's a big step up from the x3500 and a steal if it goes on sale under $500.

No way the new 3600 goes on sale for under $500! You can barely find a 3400 for that price!

ooohhhhhh, if Fry's stays in business this will will $550 to $599 in a few short months! It looks like the 3600 has replaced the 4500 as best bang for the buck for 11 channels..

Do you think it will be worth to change from 2300 to 3600 or there want to be any difference? (I have 7.1 Klipsch)

as someone who lives 5 minutes from Fry's the x3500 was $469 when on sale and then you got to apply a 20% discount to that so it was around $375.

I don't even think the x3600 is out yet but if Frys keeps carrying Denon it will be heavily discounted by Thanksgiving. Maybe not under $500 but probably under $600

I've only been watching for about 6months now. My assumption was that the 3500 and 3400 are being discounted because the 3600, and all the new generation, are coming out soon. Retail price 3500 is $999. I assume that price will go down and 3600 will be $999 as well. Possibly we see the occasional 3600 at that same $499 sale price. But I just highly highly doubt that will be any time soon. Plus for the unlucky folks like me who don't live near a Fry's we can't get the extra 20% off. Also there are MANY cases both here, slickdeals, and reddit where people tried to get the 20% off and were denied. I know everyone says you have to demand, threaten, and get a manager. Not everyone is willing raising that much of a fuss for an extra $99.

My hope is that the 3400 or 3500, or hell 1400/1500 come down significantly once the 1600/3600 are released.

The x3x00 series doesn't usually come out until August so its probably another month or so before the x3600 gets in stores. I got my x3300 a few years back when Fry's was running one of its Black Friday sales. That's when I figure the x3600 price will be reduced. From what I'm seeing the MSRP of the x3600 is $1099 so $100 more than the previous x3500. But you are getting two more channels of power and 4 extra channels of processing so it would be worth it.

Not sure about the future of Fry's brick and mortar stores. They never seem crowded when I go in and they already stopped carrying LG TV's as the contract wasn't renewed by LG. I was looking at OLED last week and all they had was display models, nothing new in box.

Customer service at Fry's has always been spotty at best but if you knew what you wanted you could usually get very good pricing.

Right now the best deal is the x2400 for $299 if you don't need a phono input, I would take that over the x1400/x1500

I, too, am worried about the Future of Fry's. I will miss these killer deals, and have you noticed, not only have their NOT been a Denon deal lately in their ads, nearly all the Denons are out of stock even at msrp...
