I'm returning a Pioneer VSX-LX103 because it is defective junk. It turns out that it suffers from widely-reported (when you know what to search for) defective Bluetooth connectivity. And it also sends audio to my projector instead of the speakers! WTF? I can just make out the program audio coming from the puny speaker in the projector up by the ceiling, until I tap the volume control on the Pioneer remote... then it's suddenly directed to the speakers as it should be.
Also there's no apparent way to rename inputs to reflect what's actually connected to them; I haven't seen this problem in... any previous A/V receiver.
There's also no way to set specific audio delay to compensate for video lag.
I noticed that the back of this Onkyo looks suspiciously similar, and sure enough Onkyo owns the Pioneer brand now and has since 2014.
So... beware. Reviews seldom reveal defects that emerge in actual use.
