JBL 8" Inwalls for a ridiculous price

jbl.com/SP8II.html

Marked down from $370 to $80. A pair! Not sure why they are so cheap right now but I ordered a pair and I don't even have an immediate need for them.

Thanks for the heads up, just ordered a set.... been looking for something reasonably priced to use as the front ceiling speakers to migrate up to a 7.2.4 setup. The front of my HT room has a large vault and flat in-walls will work much better in that part of the ceiling than circular ceiling speakers.

Seems like a great deal. For existing owners, How do these compare to the Polk rt-70s. Asking since my HT is all polk RTI As and wondering if using these for ceiling mid/rear would match the rest of the HT.
Thanks

I'm really tempted on this one. The swivel tweeter can aim for the sweet spot if used for ceiling atmos speakers. Great price, Thank you!

I've heard these in a commercial setting and they do sound very good, even in a large space. This is a solid deal, but it does pop up fairly regularly (at least once every 2-3 months)... I think I've seen them as low as $67, but it was only the SP8CII and not direct from JBL. I've definitely recommended these to others for surround duty and I'm certain they'd handle main-channel duty in a small/modest theater just fine as well.
