Where in Indy? I’m potentially able to be a storage depot (I’m in Indy as well) but I can’t afford any subs right now.

Not exactly sure, but there are a lot of interested people in the area on the SI Facebook page. That was close enough for me to take advantage of the deal.

I’m officially dropping out of the interested group. I just can’t fit these 24” subs. They need a nice sized box to really shine, which I simply cannot swing. Sorry SE MI and NW OH

If there ends up being a meeting place that's 8 to 10 hours away from the Wichita, KS area, I'm interested in two, maybe four

You should try to hear them first if someone has them in your area... I may know someone who does if you want a demo Seriously, let me know if you wanted to stop by sometime

I think the only way people are allowed to demo with you is if the also re-enact one of the scenes from the movies with you for your YouTube channel.

Yes... I like it.
Let's do the fighting scene from Ready Player One towards the end before all the players are wiped out of the Oasis. Warning, you better wear a cup...

I'm in CT definitely interested in 2 and willing to drive a few hours to pick up. (Even though I already have 2 SHT-18MKIII on order) 😅

How will it work if we order sub(s) and the pick up point is not around your location?

He is willing to drive up to 8 hours to a pickup location. Find some other people that want to buy in your general area and meet up at a central point to make the transaction. the buyer can drive for as many hours as they want, Nick will only drive 8 hours. So really, no one is out of range. If you're 16 hours from NC, then meet at the 8 hour point.

I believe so, at least most likely to a few locations if demand is large enough. I imagine at least 1 trip south another north and maybe a more western trip. for the northern trips it seems he will need multiple trips or more vans as there seems to be a lot of interest up in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan.

That's what I was thinking, gauging by the overwhelming interest.

Just placed my order!!! Purchased 2 for about $1750 we will now need to have everyone else follows through in the PA/OH region to set up a great meeting location for all. Excited for this to be ready in about a month maybe a bit more. Btw don’t forget the first round I think is from today to Sunday so don’t wait to long or you might miss out! Site says ends November 7th for the moment.

Yes, we can / will make more than one trip. We are also a little more flexible than what we have been posting on our FB page. Honestly looking over the data from our last driving trip to FL we can make a trip for 4 HS-24's to one meeting location <8 hours of us. It might take a while to make all of the trips if there turns out to be 3 or 4 different trips and meeting places.

Keep in mind that we are very open to a lot of different options. Local pickup. Organizing your own group-buy and freight/transit if you live far away from us. Etc. Each HS-24 boxed up measures 28x28x19" and weighs 145 lbs. It is normal to fit three 24's on one pallet. Four 24's is a bit tall and puts a decent amount of stress on the bottom crate. You can use the latter for inquiring to freight companies for possible pickup/transit to the west coast, etc.

Okay, here is an example of how this might/could work:
If two of you in Texas are interested, I'm in Kansas and I'm interested. If each of us bought two HS24's, that would equal...six. We find a place that makes sense to all involved to meet...like Memphis, TN.

Hickory, NC to Memphis, TN is approximately 8hrs, 28min.
My house to Memphis, TN is approximately 8hrs, 13min.
I'm not sure where you two live in TX but Frisco, TX to Memphis, TN, taking toll roads, is approximately 6hrs, 40min.

I'm loving this...it's like an adult story problem

Go with the dual 2 ohm gives you alot more amp options and if using clones is the only way to go . They dont recomend running 2ohm loads

Sorry to say I have to be out on this one... Mocked up the boxes and the significant other said she'd tell me EXACTLY where to put them...

I need to find an architect that can hide 23 cu ft boxes...

so that's 2 less from NE OH... hopefully you guys can work things out with the Western OH, MI, and Western PA folks... I'm bummed out, it's a great deal!

Have a question and want it answered in podcast format?

I'd be willing to drive to PA from CT for 2. OH is too far for me though.

A buddy of mine's uncle lives in NC and travels back and forth to CT, I'm trying to see if he'd be willing to pick a pair up for me, but we can't seem to get ahold of him. Pretty sure he's on vacation in Puerto Rico ☹️

I emailed Nick and he said he'd be willing to drive to Jackson, TN or possibly Memphis, TN if at least six 24's are bought.

Also, the Black Friday sale price is now going to last till the end of the month.

You just aren't trying hard enough. If there is a will there is a way. Before we sold our last house i had built a 12cf box and hid it in the wall. My wife wondered what i did with that huge box i drug in to the house.

Do you have a build page? Would love to see how you implemented that. Did you have to take studs out? Fit between the studs? I'm probably going to go Infinite Baffle to the attic, but would love to have a backup plan on how to put a box in the wall if the IB shakes the house to much

I do have a build on it. The box was built to fit under my av rack. It was at the time 3 feet behind my seat. Unfortunately we bought a new house just as I was about to order my amplifier, so i suspended that purchase as i knew it was going to be a while before i was going to be able to use it at the new house. So Although i built a nice box i still have not heard what it sounds like. It is a bit hard having 2 monsters sitting on the shelf. I would like to get 2 more but don't think it would pass the finance committee. Also i don't want all 4 to be out of warranty before i can fire them up. Hopefully by this time next year i can start my theater build and get them in to place.
