Just snagged 3 and it was already posted here. What amp and rubber feet is everyone using for a BOSS platform?

This is the first I've ever heard of the BOSS. This is exactly what I was searching for. I have plenty of bass with my dual drive ULS 15's but was craving more TR. I just ordered 3!

I'm thinking we should be able to use a spare old AVR on X-channel stereo to give equal and adequate power to the three subs. I am interested on the feet though. I wonder how firm the rubber should be?

The BOSS system is by far the best bang for the buck addition to my dedicated theater. I use the jbl’s in the front row and the mb quart’s in the back row - both work well.

There's a link in the thread. You don't want firm at all, you want squishy.

Why is 3 the magic number? I would think 4 sub would be the right amount...4 walls. Maybe 1 on each side of the couch and 1 behind the couch?

"Magic" numbers are 4, 9, 16 (2^2, 3^2, 4^2, etc.) so the speakers can be wired series/parallel for a load that's okay for most amps.

Actually, it's 4, 16, 64, etc if you are trying to maintain the same ohm load of 1 speaker.

As you can see from the link, I'm using 9.

Most of us use these. You don't need many. For amp just about anything...very low power required. Like 80w per speaker max.

Anyone know how often these go on sale for $29? Wondering if I should grab them now for a project I'm doing in a few months.

Roomba ate the fabric under one of our couches, that couch has three sections between the bracing.

I ended up snagging three more over the weekend. Is it possible to run three woofers per rail on an amp? I was thinking I could do a second platform under our other couch if the wife doesn't hate it.

Intermittently, but they've been discontinued, so they're going to run out eventually. Get them now.
And get a couple extra - you never know.

That's a 12 ohm load. Not a problem, but you'll need more power. That's the advantage of running 4 series/parallel at 4 ohms.
