Star Wars movies in 4K ever be discounted

Just wondering if someone could guess when and if Disney will discount The Skywalker Saga and the individual movies on THE 4K.

Based on Disney's past history I would say the best you'll see is $5 off the individual movies and maybe a similar discount on the sets. Disney rarely puts their product on steep discounts, unless your talking Black Friday in the US. Prior to the Marvel acquisition the movies would routinely go on sale but since the acquisition the best you see is maybe $5 off the movies.

Target and Amazon have 3 for the price of 2 so it works out to $20 each.

Disney doesn't really do discounts lol. But the other problem is the so called "Disney Vault" they have a long track record of only selling a certain movie for so long and then pulling them from the shelves everywhere. Then bring them back out in 4 or 5 years.

True, but the Disney Vault practise is now pretty much gone according to the Hollywood trades. Almost all of Disney's Vault is on Disney+ now and from what I hear (I don't subscribe) some, or all, of the extras that were on the disks are there also. I know I should get more confirmed confirmation before I made this post but I think I'm right.

You can find Disney disks on sale on Black Friday. Also the 3 for the price of 2 I think was a Amazon and Target thing.

Your probably right, I don't have kids so it's been a long time since I was looking to a "Disney" movie to be honest.

This deal may make Rise of Skywalker the first Star Wars title I don't purchase on disk (some multiple times/formats)... I'm not biting on any of the most recent UHD releases because of how good they look/sound on D+, but I'll pickup Rise for $5 as a stop-gap until it hits D+ (even if the sale is only for HDX) since I hadn't got around to buying the UHD disc yet anyway.
