It's things like this that make me want to tell my car "Why can't you behave yourself, I need the money for a new Sony " A good deal, nice bang for the buck.

I checked the rtings.com review and I was surprised at how good this TV is. The SDR and HDR peak brightness are excellent, the input lag is amazing, and it can do Dolby Vision. Drawbacks are the 60hz panel, no local dimming, screen uniformity, and below average contrast ratio.

But HDMI 2.1 is right around the corner....

TV for news, sports, casual lighted room use. Not a man cave Tv, doesn't have to be. That's the target.

The average person who doesn't set foot a in Costco ( there a lot of people who don't), asks..."What's a Vizio ?"

I've never set foot in a costco, and have been buying Vizio for years.

We bought last year’s 800G (49”) for use as a bedroom TV. Honestly, I'm constantly amazed by how good this little Sony looks. Our main TV is a 65” Sony A8G OLED.
