When it comes to Amps, this is the first thing I look at, if the Yamaha, Denon, Marantz... or what have you says "9.2 channel AV Receiver with 125W per channel" , and the total power consumption is 710 Watts, you know it's not true!!!

I know it has Dirac Live and a nice amp section but $2500 for a receiver that doesn't have HDMI 2.0b with any sort of HDR support? Seems too steep to me.

HDMI 2.0a supports HDR, 2.0b just adds HLG. The product description even specifically refers to Dolby Vision compatibility.

Interesting, so can boards be upgraded in it, as well? Dolby Vision? I loved my old Lexicon of years back, currently use an Amp with a deceiver and just upgrade the receiver every couple of years. I took the jump into expensive Pre/Pros, only to loose my shorts when it came to upgrade so I switched over the receivers and just keeping a good Amp around.
prerich likes this.

Dynaudio Confidence C2 Platinums (Mocca), Dynaudio Contour 20's (Grey Oak) KEF LS50 (Black), Magnepan 1.7i, Belles VT-01/MB-200s, NAD M10, Hegel, Musical Fidelity and various other good brands.. HT system: Dynaudio SCX Center, Dynaudio In-Walls for Surrounds and Sony VPL-295ES possibly a new Monitor in the future.
