Trying calibrate my projector after a while away. Advice needed

Hi all!

I have an X-Rite i1 Pro (rev D) and traditionally used Colorimeter HCFR to get real-time RGB values from images onscreen, etc etc.
Last time I did it was around 2015.

Unfortunately, now I have a Surface Pro 4 with Windows 10 and Im having challenges getting HCFR to see the i1 Pro.
By comparison, i1Match software sees it and works fine, so the issue is likely to be with the HCFR software itself.

I had a decent look online and saw posts for replacement drivers and workarounds, etc - None seem to work.

My question: Now that the i1 Pro is installed, what software should I be using with it (win 10 compatible) that will allow me to take readings from a screen without all the rigmarole?

Thanks in advance!

To use it with HCFR you need to use the ArgyllCMS driver for the i1 Pro.

I downloaded the ArgyllCMS driver, saw the install instructions and freaked out, but after much messing around with an older version of HCFR I managed to get things working.

Thanks Dominic!

Actually you didn’t need to download the drivers. They’re already in the HCFR/Drivers folder
