I have two meters, one X-rite branded and the other an ES-2000. They were manufactured about 3 years apart. They both have the same exterior design with the black soft-touch body and silver accents - not the full gray/silver design of the original i1Pro.
Both are labelled i1Pro Rev E. Is Rev E the only indicator that it's a "2" version? I was expecting some more specific labeling changes.
Are both considered i1Pro2's and, therefore, compatible with software as an i1Pro2? Can I expect both to measure with equivalent accuracy?
Questions have been asked about the ES-2000 in the past. You can try a forum search.
I think the following thread has all the info you need. I was just asking myself the same question, so I came across it.
