Calibration issue- Samsung/Calman

Hola,
At the moment using Calman Home, i1d3, and a Samsung Q70 tv.
I can go through the Dynamic Range, and Greyscale 2pt configs and get them dialed in.

(TV Settings):
Movie mode
backlight 30
brightness 0
contrast 35
sharp 0
color 25
tint 0
all processing off
dimming low
color space native

Then I go to the 21 point greyscale and the RGB Balance balances are bad (-10 to -20) and DeltaEs around 5. When I go adjust the 20 point scale on the tv it helps but I have to really crank up r/b/g really high on each point. Does that sound correct? I would assume that the 2 point being dialed in would mean that the 20 point would only need mild to moderate adjusting... ?

Thanks!

Hi there. First of all if you are calibrating for sdr u should leave your cms to auto or custom and not native as you are oversaturating everything. Secondly about your gamma issue did you move the gamma slider on your tv? For example on your readings does the whiteline when you measure gamma pikes up like a hill shape?

The RGB balance should be around 0, and you go to -20.

Thanks Mike I’ll try changing the cms.
As far as the gamma I have the TV set to 2.2 and CalMAN set to power=2.2 in the settings. I don’t see a gamma slider on the tv though.

Also can anyone explain the difference on the RGB Balance scale? During calibration it shows 40 to -40:

And the final report at the end shows it as 120 to 80:

The one on top is the one from your gray scale calibration page, and includes luminance vs target luminance. The one on the bottom appears to be normalized RGB-only, with no luminance.
