Question to Laric, others may be curious aswell.
I was looking at the photodiode TCS230 pdf file and was wondering if a Hoya CM500 filter is required?
I see as standard it is normalized at 680nm and when filtered it is normalized at 530nm. Filtered the response looks cleaned up beyond 700nm. Of more concern is the 600nm to 700nm area where the red band and clear bands are quite different between filtered and unfiltered.
I see also the second photodiode is not currently in use, but will. When is this likely to happen and in what way? Cross reference?
I'm planning on using the sensor to look at DIY screens(painted) with respect to what effects on calibration does various paints mixes cause.
I'm actually making 2 probes, 1 as a spare, but was wondering if there is provision within the software for running a pair of probes, so 2 reference points can be resulted at the same time. Near/far or center side viewing angles.
