Shadow of War has outlined their plan for the Xbox One X enhancements

You'll be able to choose from two different modes - Favour Resolution or Favour Quality - which are fairly self-explanatory. Choose Favour Resolution and you can enjoy increased texture detail targeting native 4K, while opting for Favour Quality brings enhancements across the board.
These include increased texture detail, better draw distances, improved shadows and lighting, more vegetation, higher polygon counts, enhanced ambient occlusion and improvements to texture filtering. Whichever option you decide on, you'll still be playing Shadow of War at some sort of lovely ramped up 4K resolution. Which is a good thing.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War's Xbox One X enhancements will be available when the console launches on 7th November, as a free update. An optional 4K cinematics DLC will also roll out

Playing this on Xbox One S at the moment, and looking forward to it on the X next month.

Mentioned in another thread, but putting this game on an SSD is almost required to cut down on agonizing loading times.

What is considered "agonizing loading times"? Doesn't seem to take that long to boot up or when I fast travel to a new location on my S.

Going from menu to game, it would take what seemed like 45 seconds... maybe more? A long time to be staring at the same two alternating still images. Maybe my install was corrupt if others aren't experiencing these load times? This was on a Seagate 2TB external.

Coping the install to the SSD improved load times greatly.

This game is so much better than the first one. Been having a blast and the dialogue with the orcs is just wild

I completely agree. I'm having a great time playing this game. It looks great on the X1X too.

This weekend I finally returned to this game to get 100% in all five regions. Fun to the end.

There's still some other stuff I can finish off, but I think I'm going to hang it up until the Season Pass drops in price. Looking forward to returning to this game down the road.

Big update rolling out tomorrow that will revamp the end game as well as remove the microtraction marketplace. The official video seemed to be an hour long stream so hear is a shorter summary.
