Finally got my (new) stand and got some pics taken. Everything look so much cleaner now. Here goes:

The goods:
Sony KDS-50A2000
Onkyo 705
Polk R50s, CSR, R150 surrounds
Dayton SUB-100 (rarely used, old lady lives downstairs and I like to respect her).

The nice discoloration of the center speaker is courtesy of my 3 year old son and a mishap with a cup of juice.

If I showed you guys my setup, the wire monster would eat you. I'm moving out soon and upgrading from my 40" 71 Samsung (I bought a 40" because I was in a really small room), to a 58"+ Plasma (I'd get and LCD, but at that size they're too expensive).

I'm gonna finally have my OWN apartment (not a shared on like I have now) so I needs a bigger TV, and new receiver. Not to mention a new stand...and couch. Ouch. The snowball effect is real, and it hurts. >__<<br />
VERY nice setups here. I'm very much jealous.

Thanks dgjr, it is a crappy picture but I also am very pleased with the setup. And almost half of it is paid for!

metafourik, I really like the R50s. The price was right at i believe $60 each and they give a great clean sound with a little bit of lows. I rarely use my sub since I am in an apartment and most of my gaming and movie watching is late at night and they do the job of carrying the lows fairly well.

Yea, it's the sanus. The stand does hold wires through that middle column, and I do run quite a few through it, but it is a pain to use it. Plus, the exit in the middle is quite narrow and most of my power cables to PS3/xbox can't fit. I use it mostly for HDMI cables. A lot of the cables you see are cables for charging PS3 controllers or power cables.

thanks for the input I plan to get the Sanus in a few months. Getting a user report is helpfull since I'll have to run the cords with one hand.

I dont wanna hijack my own thread...but I certainly didn't forget. A miracle from above my friend. Divine intervention. We found a way to win!

So we did win the NC, and Ohio State still hasn't beaten an SEC team in a bowl game.

BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL! GO VOLS!

Yeah that Sanus stand looks awesome, even more awesome because I ordered the same TV as you just the 42" version. Wish the stand didn't cost 400$ which is almost as much as a ps3 =/.

Well I am in college and live in an apartment so I guess I qualify for this thread!

Word of warning, Due to the fact I am at school and you never know when our place will end up looking like this....

I haven't invest much money at all into...well anything b/c its very easy for stuff to get f'ed up and people like to rob students around here so yea. When ever I move to my own place most everything will be sold and replaced with nice stuff...haha.

I guess you could say I have a bastard child of a set up...

720p on a CRT RPTV FTW!!!!

Seating... and beer pong table one and two.

The End, Continue with your day.

I had money... I found AVS Forum... Now I don't have money...

Alright...so I got my new speakers (Polk CS2 and pair of Monitor 60s). I havent figured out exactly where I wanna put everything...so any suggestions would be appreciated. I am anticipating placing the PS3 vertical on the left cabinet speaker, similar to where the xbox is.

My problem is I wanna put the receiver in the center of the bottom shelf, so I am trying to think of somewhere to put the Cable box. Anyway...here goes.

I'll get some screen shots up again soon.
