I was playing FarCry3 on PS3 while my AVR was out for repair. Still have to run through the co-op maps and that will be a platinum trophy. I was playing through Doom, but my son got No Man's Sky for Christmas. He was like, "You should check this out." I was like, "Nah, that's your game." He pressured me to try it and I got sucked in, so I've been playing that lately. I've read it got a bad rap on release, but we've been playing 1.77 and it seems pretty cool to me. I'm playing it in permadeath mode so sometimes I'm on the edge of my seat.

Just got Ghost Recon Wildlands to play co-op with a buddy of mine. Waiting on my headset so we can communicate before diving in.

Working my way through The Witcher 3 (again) and Ratchet and Clank (again).

Also have God of War and Spiderman on deck.

Red Dead Redemption 2 came bundled with my PS4 Pro but just can't get into it. I don't know what it is about this series but I just don't like it as much as I've tried to. Had the same issue with Red Dead Redemption. I think it's the Western setting - just not my cup of tea.

I'm working on Kingdom Hearts 2 and the rest of the games/cinematics on the KH 1.5/2.5 Collection and KH 2.8 Collection before Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out at the end of the month.

Prepare to have countless hours lost in that game. Best open world game ever. I have played through twice, spent many many many evenings roaming around and it simply is amazing that after all that time I still find new things to do and things I have not seen.

I finally did put it down to give myself a bit of a break and began playing Just Cause 4. I really enjoyed the last one, just fun action in an open world. While the game is fun, the graphics are TERRIBLE. I am not one that gets hung up a whole lot about it, but this game just looks super bad. Thankfully it is still fun to play.

Will be heading back to Assassins Creed Odyssey after, I stoped a quarter of the way in when Red Dead came out.

I'm still playing Skyrim, though I haven't touched it in a while. I mostly use my PS4 for streaming/Blu-Ray duty at the moment. I just haven't had much motivation for playing games.

God of War on PS4 Pro - Absolutely beautiful game to play.

RD2 is fun but is a very slow pace. It makes you want to play all the side missions, so you spend literally hours patting your horse and cooking.

Battlefield V - underrated. It's more fun that the reviews give it credit for. This is the best sounding shooter I've played. The AVR upmixed the surround into Neural:X to use the full Atmos setup. Totally immersive and the surround is accurate enough to use tactically.

Picked up Horizon: Zero Dawn on recommendation from Game Stop employee based on my telling him I really enjoyed games like Witcher series, Elder Scrolls series, etc.

I cannot believe I never picked this game up before - I LOVE IT.

One of those games I will try to 100%.

If you enjoy RPGs (open worlds, questing, leveling up, collecting things, crafting, obtaining and upgrading weapons/armor, etc.) I highly recommend Horizon: Zero Dawn. Great story, great graphics, LOTS to do.

There is even a NG+ for replay value.

I agree it is excellent. And the RPG side of it isn't die hard RPG or over complicated. One of my Fav games this gen for sure.

Games now a days are huge!

The five largest games on my PS4 total 428 GB. Red Dead Redemption 2 being the largest at 103 GB.

Speaking of RDR2, I've had it since launch and just started chapter 6.

Finally done with Spiderman and the DLC. I'd say overall it was a very well done game. Spidey himself was well acted as were others in the game with exception of a few VERY annoying characters aka screwball. The story was good, but it was a flat out copy of Arkham. Batman was better. Lots of repetition, challenges sucked, but the main game and DLC was good.

PS4 will collect dust now, heading back to the X for a back log on that. I'll be back when tlou2 is out.

I'm nearing the end of Read Dead 2. Great game, my favorite from last year, but from what I've read the online beta is a bit of a mess. I'll probably move on to Shadow of the Tomb Raider once I'm finished.

Scary to admit but I have a backlog of 70+ PS4 games that I have hoarded during sales the last few years. Add to that "Sekiro" in a couple of weeks, which I will try to play right away. I usually wait on games to get complete editions, unless I absolutely can't wait. I absolutely can't wait for "Sekiro".

I just started Mass Effect Andromeda. The Mass Effect trilogy is my all-time favorite, but I've been reluctant to give this a try based on all the negative reviews it got when it first came out. But for $7.49 last week on PSN, and with lowered expectations, I decided to give it a shot. Sci-fi RPGs are my jam, so I'd rather play a mediocre one than many other kinds of games. So far, so good.

Yeah the reviews were harsh. I enjoyed it. I did wait until the bugs were worked out before playing it, but I don't see why so many trashed it.

You know how it is. Everyone blows things out of proportion and hyperbole gets the most attention. For some reason things either have to be the best thing since sliced bread or it’s the worst thing ever.

Finished God of War on PS4 Pro. Loved the game! Was kinda bored during the first 1/4 of the game but then it really picked-up and got much better. I think I might like this game more than The Last of Us (but then that would not be a truly fair comparison as The Last of Us was a previous-gen title). The graphics were so good and the polish in the game was freaking amazing. Didn't encounter a single glitch or bug.

Got the Platinum on No Man's Sky. Got a little repetitive after completing the 3 main story lines. I might fire it back up if there's a community event going on, but can't find any info on a schedule for such things.

Been playing through God of War. I was never a big fan of hack and slash style of gameplay so thought this would be up my ally since it didn't look like that, and it wasn't. I just got the Chaos Blades though, so now it feels like it's gone back to it's roots. I get it. It's got a following so it should be expected. It's a beautiful game, and the Mythology is cool since it's familiar, but , and I'm sure I'm in the minority here, I think I prefer Horizon Zero Dawn up to this point. I'm definitely going to finish it up and my opinion may change at that time.
