I rented this from Redbox and am about 6 hours in. I’m very underwhelmed. It’s ok but it honestly doesn’t feel like anything special. Seems very much like they took TOO MUCH inspiration from Last of Us, which causes it to feel like a rip-off of that game at points. I just can’t quite put my finger on it why I feel so mediocre towards the game, but that’s feeling I get from it so far.

I have it for the next few days so I’ll probably try and finish it, though I’m not rushing through it just to get to the end. Personally, if the first third of the game feels like this, I wouldn’t give this a blind buy at full price. I’ll post more impressions once I’m further along.

My PS4 has been neglected and I watched some streamers play it the first couple of days and really liked the environment so decided to pick it up.

From what I have played this far it is a very OK game. It does a lot right and most of it is right but it is almost like they borrowed mechanics from other games but they are all just like a small step back from games that are more successful with them making it feel like it just misses the mark.

The visuals are nice but they are using a pixel width doubling effect leading to mixed results where 1920x2160 can stand out, resulting in some softness.

I've only put in a few hours so far as MK11, The Division 2, and AC: Odyssey which I recently bought on sale on PC is keeping me busy, Days Gone is a nice slight change of pace and I am a sucker for zombie games. There have definitely been many moments in Days Gone where I am really enjoying myself.

Overall the story and acting is a bit eye roll inducing and not very engaging for me thus far but I do enjoy soaking in the environment and exploring it.

Thanks, ....got a stack of games as tall as my house that I haven't spent 5 minutes with, but the one I'm in the mood to play...is this one, and I haven't seen it for less than $50...and I know in three months it'll be $34...

I have modified my bike numerous amount of times and it keeps on resetting. I used almost all my credits at copelands camp for nitrous upgrade body and paint. But it goes back to the way it was before and wants me to pay to reinstall. Does anyone else have the same problem or similar?
