question about the Nintendo Switch menu sounds from Receiver

Hello. I have my Nintendo Switch connected to my Marantz SR6008. I have a small issue with the sound on the Switch. The game audio is all fine. However, on the main menu of the Switch, we hear "click" sounds when we move the cursor across different selections. On my main menu of the switch, only the first 2 or 3 clicks are heard and then I don't hear it anymore. This does not happen when i connect the switch directly to the TV though. Is there something wrong with the receiver settings? Why is this sound effect going away after 2 or 3 clicks in the main menu of the switch? Hopefully that was not hard to understand but I can provide more clarification if needed.

I would guess this means that the Switch doesn't keep the HDMI audio connection 'alive' while no sound is playing, and that your receiver is taking just a few seconds longer to lock on to the signal than the TV alone. So then after you hear the first two clicks the audio signal goes dead and then when you move to a different item it then starts the sound up again and the receiver takes a second to lock on. Pure speculation though.

Is this a similar thing to what happens with certain subwoofers that only turn on (even if you have the on switch on) when they detect LFE? Mine will go off after 15 minutes of now sound connected and then "chirp" back on when a sub signal comes through. Are all your speakers going off and no sound comes through on the menu or is it just the UI clicks that go away?
