If it doesn't it should come back around at the same price at the end of the sale.

It came out like a month ago and it's under $10, what more do you want lol.

Anyway, I got you covered bro.

Do we think Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will go below 40%? I'll probably get it at $24, but can easily wait if there's a feeling it will drop - maybe a Flash Sale or something? Also not sure if 40% is enough for Rayman Legends.

Divinity: Original Sin is currently 20% off for the beta - the first 20 hours, and the full game unlocks in a couple weeks.

Hey DaverJ,

If there is a way to give you my ACIV I'll gladly do it, not going to play it.

Anyone know a way, does Uplay allow this... (maybe just hand over the single game account)?

Thanks,
Jason

Had to get this anyways since if we want to Co-Op we need our own copy Installing now.

EDIT: Holy Smokes this is downloading slow.. Not even coming close to maxing out my Download rate with this game and I usually never have a problem on steam.

Only thing I can think of is give them your login, but then that leaves your account open. Now if this game was on Steam it would not be an issue since you could setup the share plan... I'm still a little miffed we need separate clients for games. I think all of them will be behind the times compared to Steam.

Would still not work as the game still requires UPlay to launch and you have to redeem the key on it, even if you buy through Steam. It's the unfortunate situation.

Anyone here play Rage? It's 5 bucks right now but I am getting short on money for games. (Wife Is cutting me off) I could use some opinions on if it's worth playing or if I should save my money for something better.

Rage gets a lot of flack, but I think it's great. Well, except for the ending.

It's a top-notch, AAA Doom-style first-person shooter from id Software. There's some arcade driving/racing/combat, and the story is decent, but goes way south at times (especially the aforementioned ending).

Overall, if solid 60fps quick shooting is your thing, it's worth $5 for at least the first half of the game.

I have 6 games in my cart. I want to pull the trigger tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Any feedback on any of the games would be appreciated. I vastly prefer single player games over multiplayer. So I selected the list base on an expectation that each had a superior Single Player format over multiplayer. Please let me know if that is not the case.
  1. Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition ($3.99) and Witcher Enhanced Edition, Directors cut ($1.99). Both look sort of like Skyrim and Kingdom of Amalur. I never played Witcher. So...good-bad-ugly?...or just MEH.
  2. Borderlands 2 ($15.99). Never played the 1st game, or B2 on console. So what is it like? And is the price right?
  3. XCom Complete (16.49). Never played any version of this but it looked very interesting to me. The videos reminded me of Crysis. What say you.
  4. Devil May Cry 3&4 Bundle ($7.49) This one looked like something between Fable and Diablo to me.
  5. Enslaved Premium Edition ($4.99). I played this on the Xbox 360 and absolutely loved the game. This one has the premium graphic enhancement package and the Pigsy solo mission DLC included. SO I am very interested in playing it on the superior PC platform with the Xbox 360 controller. Anyone played it on both? And was it worth it?
I'd like to snag these during the sale. So any feedback or hesitance about any of them is appreciated. I am unsure about Witcher. It looks beautiful. But is it a massive time hog like Skyrim and Kingdom of Amalur?

All great titles and prices. I'd pay that for all those if I didn't have them already.

1) The Witcher series is pretty deep and can be somewhat complex as action-RPGs go. Those that appreciate a challenge like it, and I liked some things they did in Witcher2, but the controls and options felt kinda like work at times. Great cut-scenes.
2) Borderlands 2 +DLC is one of my all-time favs, highly recommended.
3) Xcom isn't Crysis, unfortunately. Turn-based tactical alien hunting, if that's your thing. Not mine.
4) DMC 3 and 4 are Capcom console ports. Crazy shooting/slicing/button mashing action - nothing like Fable or Diablo. I liked the DMC reboot from a couple years ago, but YMMV on the older games. Might want to hold off on those.
5) Enslaved plays great on PC with xbox controller. Never played it on console, but what I played on PC was fairly interesting.

Wow, some of these are really great indie games that are ridiculously cheap. Among others, some great and really cheap games are Rochard for $1.99, Bit.Trip Runner 2 for $2.79, Beat Hazard $2.09, Pid for $2.99, Super House of Dead Ninjas $1.74, and Super Puzzle Platformer for $1.99.

For $5 you can't go wrong. I picked it up and played it for a bit and got sidetracked on it. I'll be reinstalling it shortly now that I got my new rig to see how much better it looks. Graphics were pretty and gameplay was fun

Do not buy DMC 3 for PC, it's a horrible port of the PS2 version. DMC 4 is fine though.

@DaverJ, kenshiro26 and Darthrsg:

Thanks guys. Your input was very helpful. I actually expanded the list a bit. And will pull the trigger this evening. I added:
  1. The Bureau: XComm Declassified ($3.99)
  2. Bulletstorm ($4.99)
  3. The Last Remnant ($2.49)
That brings me in for a grand total of 9 games at $62.41. I figure that's less than the cost of 1 new game for a console. So I'm happy with it. Plus I'm really into the superior graphics of my PC right now. That may actually put Enslaved on a serious bubble before I pull the switch tonight. Since I already own it for the Xbox 360. But I saw a few others I may give a shot over it. That I don't have. If anyone has played these 2 and don't like them. Chime in. They are:
  1. Trine 2
  2. Halo Spartan Assault

The core elements are randomized/procedural levels, enemies or characters, you start from the beginning every time you die, and there's some sort of persistent inventory/skill progression across plays.

Other than that, it can be anything from a turn based RPG, side scrolling beat em up or even a FPS. But it's named after an 80s game called "Rogue", which I think was a turn based fantasy RPG.

Skip Spartan ASSualt

Basically every indie game from 2013 until present

Rogue Legacy is a great example of the current trend. Also what BD2003 said.

Spartan Assault is a fun game if you like twin-stick shooters. It just hit the Flash Deals for $2.49

I've actually bought it 4 times now. Win 8 - $8, X360 - $5, XBO - $5 (before it was the games with gold), and now Steam - $2.49 lol.
