Agreed, I really enjoyed Andromeda (as well as the prequel novel they released). But it's EA we're talking about, the game got a bunch of negativity spouted about it for, imo, quite minor issues, so EA is like "nah, we're gonna hold off and let things cool down". Meanwhile they're releasing another NFS game (and the last one was complete garbage)

The game was certainly better than I thought it would be. I'm glad I picked it up. I'll probably grab it on PC as well when it goes cheap.

Mass Effect is one of the handful of franchises that are pretty much guaranteed day 1 buys for me, if not preorders. Mass Effect, Halo, GTA, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, and probably the Forza games. Those are the series that I've bought every game from and have yet to regret any of the purchases, regardless of "critic" opinions

I have a fetish for wanting to check out Witcher 3 in 4K (I have it on PS4, really hate the game)......but the publisher won't let the price drop below the $19.99 glass floor or something........has this ever been $14.99 or less? Right now the main game is like on sale for 23 while the GOTY version is a mere 3 dollars more I think...

Better yet... find a friend on Steam to use Steam Game Sharing with. Know anyone that owns it?

Link up.

Download.

Enjoy.

Checking out Dreadnought through the open beta. The Video looks damn cool and I'm such a sucker for space combat. I'm worried since it looks to be PvP and no single player? If nothing else it will fun to check out.

I did not care for W3 at all initially (controls/mechanics) but it is now one of my all time favorite games, easily in my top 5 (even though I am not an rpg fan).
I think I have around 130 hours invested and all of it was at 4K/60, what a ride.

As far as I'm aware it's multiplayer only. It's like a MOBA with big capital ships. I've watched a few livestreams of it, and it's very cool to watch, but definitely not my play type

My son did a round of PvP on it and went 11-1. I told him that was probably just the beginning stage and was AI. I went 9-0 in that one!

I generally respond to quality, which is why Witcher 3 was nabbed.....just haven't got there yet. My Dead Rising 3 rainy day came this weekend, however, finally the stars aligned and I enjoyed devoting a weekend to it.....

I have tried 3 times to get through dr3. I just can't get into the "finishing it" zone.

I'm having the identical issue with Mass Effect Andromeda. I really enjoy the game when playing it. But I find myself going weeks without touching it before resuming. It's just not grabbing me yet like ME2 & ME3. I had the same problem initially with ME1. But it eventually snagged me...and I couldn't turn it off. I'M hoping ME-A catches me like that. But I can't quite put my finger on why I drift away from it. I'M still early in the game...at the Frozen planet quest, which isn't even really difficult.

I don't think I've played a tekken since PlayStation 2. I not sure I'm interested anymore. Is it the same as the old games?

I'll probably get it on a deep sale.

The core of the mechanics is the same. What's so great about it is that you cannot defeat difficult opponents simply by button mashing. The game rewards being methodical in how you approach your attacks, movements and blocks. Mastering each character's fight style is great fun, and the game is loaded with stuff to unlock.

I am a long time Tekken fan, still own the Japanese imports for the original PlayStation and play the arcade versions on my multi-cade, but (for me) Tekken 7 is a bit of a let down over-all.

It also has performance issues on pc for many people (random frame drops), so I would say stay away for now.

Man. I don't even think about the big seasonal sales on Steam anymore. Wonder if I'll get anything.

I guess Steam will be slow as balls for the next couple weeks.

In other words..... I'm playing Arma 3. Wow. Even better, I suckered @Marafice Eye in with me. Crazy, I know.

I'm playing mostly for the Brrrrtt but he got me playing Exile mod.

Yeah I haven't really cared much about the last few Steam sales. Aside from the fact I can't really afford anything at the moment, I can't think of anything I REALLY want. Sure my wishlist is 200+ games long, but I use that list more like an "oh that looks interesting, I'll keep tabs on it for later"-list. This will probably be another Steam sale I buy nothing.
